    Elliott! It's so close to all the hubbub of MT Washington and the Southside and yet fairly quiet with lots of green space, much lower housing costs than neighborhoods you've mentioned, fantastic views and even a lot of wildlife. You can walk to a game on the Northside and yet be extremely close to all the highways and shopping out in Robinson which is right on the way to the airport. I have neighbors with goats and chickens and many of us have campfires in our back yards. I've been here for 18 years now and still love it!

      Hi John. Thanks for your comments on our video. We just posted a video on Crafton and will be posting other community videos over time.

      I ride through Elliott on a regular basis trying to avoid the parkway. I will make sure to add this to the list of communities that we plan to spotlight.

    A more affordable area is Elliot, Crafton heights, and Sheridan. Nice homes can be found in these areas.

    I'm not sure why you chose to leave out Stanton hts, Morningside and Highland Park especially near the park , zoo and reservoir. Is there a reason?

    Is station square turning into shopping again? Last time I was there it was pretty sparse.

      @Jane Doe. Last I heard, they were renovating to the tune of $30 million. Most of the retail shops were leaving and they were supposed to be adding restaurants. But I haven't read anything recently. Not sure if you've been in the area lately, but they've recently built a huge apartment building right next door.

      @@PghRealEstateDianeMcConaghy last time I was there was in 2018, and it looked pretty empty. When I would go as a kid, there were lots of shops and restaurants.

      @PghRealEstateDianeMcConaghy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JaneDoe-nr5bx I agree. There used to be so much to do there. But those days are gone. I haven't been inside in a few years because most of the shops are gone. I drive past it regularly and need to take some time to see the new developments, especially since the apartment complex went in.

    Hello Diane, my partner and I are thinking of a move to Pittsburgh from the SF Bay Area, we have 4.5 yr old twins and are wondering what is a good neighborhood for LGBT families?

      In my opinion as a native Pittsburgher, I think that all the neighborhoods are LGBTQ+'friendly. We have a really laid back attitude towards how other people live their lives. The suburbs may be another story though..

      @PghRealEstateDianeMcConaghy  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@johnmcnulty4425 HI John. I agree with your reply to Sean. As real estate agents, we have to be careful on commenting on specific areas so as not to stear a customer towards a particular area or violate any of the fair housing rules. I'm hoping to hear from soon.

      If you’re used to SF I’d recommend Lawrencville / Bloomfield area, as long as you’re okay with hipsters. I live on Mt Washington as it’s in the center of everything and has a small town feel, with a metropolis at the bottom of the hill.
      The neighborhood that most people overlook is Dormont / Beechview area. Sure they’re suburbs, but they have the T which is always nicer / faster to ride than the bus. In fact, the T still drives on the road through some of these neighborhoods.
      If I didn’t work North of the city, I’d have chosen a neighborhood that I could ride the T from. I drive a stick, and these hills can be brutal.
