I really can't believe there aren't many UK kid channels anymore which is crazy first Pop Girls removed then Kix, and now CITV channel is gone forever, why are they doing this because if they keep removing kids channel then there won't be any past cartoons/anime on freeview freesat to watched. What has happen to the old days when there are more cartoons to watched on the weekend just like in the 90s/ 2000.

Heard that there was a shortage of childrens tv channels around the world due to declining birthrate, and the only channels were cartoonito, disney channels (if you even have one since now), nickelodeon, and cartoon network
The 1:00 and 1:22 are really scary Yes! The 2009-2011 closedown is scarier than the 2006-2008 the announcer started at the beginning of citv closedown when the announcer was finished and the music was finished too the bumper became silent and the bumper is still airing and that's how they did the scary way
I have a memory of when I was a kid, maybe about 7 years old (so back in 2012), I was ill and used it as an excuse to stay at home and watch TV all day. At the time we didnt have channels like Cartoon Network and such, as in my room I only had a Freeview box. So instead, I had to watch Citv, which wasnt usually that bad. However on that day, they were only airing episodes of “Almost Naked Animals” all day, which is in my opinion one of the worst cartoons to ever air. Im happy that we eventually paid for extra channels, because honestly while not awful, theres definitely a difference in the quality of what airs on freeview channels and ones you pay for. Though its a shame CITV is closing, but im not surprised as kids these days dont tend to watch TV. My little sister who was born in 2012 has basically grown up on TH-cam and the internet.
