Citv was the main channel I watched as a kid after I stopped watching cbeebies, and while I'm 14 now and don't watch it anymore and watch streaming now, it was still sad to see it go. Also, your version was a lot better than what they actually did. It gave me chills and was very conclusive. :)
I really can't believe there aren't many UK kid channels anymore which is crazy first Pop Girls removed then Kix, and now CITV channel is gone forever, why are they doing this because if they keep removing kids channel then there won't be any past cartoons/anime on freeview freesat to watched. What has happen to the old days when there are more cartoons to watched on the weekend just like in the 90s/ 2000.
I've just remembered! CBBC (launched in around 1985 as a block on the BBC and as a digital free-to-air children's TV channel in February 2002,) will be leaving linear TV, along with BBC Four, in early 2025 because of streaming services. CBeebies, the other free-to-air children's TV channel, will "stick around".
Fun fact: I made the CITV skateboard ident off air in sync to Faerie Island! I would show you but unfortunately I deleted it off of my device when I deleted almost every photo and video.

all they did with the real one was basically just say "yeah, you might find it sad, BUT BUY OUR STREAMING SERVICE! ITS MUCH BETTER!"
