Hi, doc Kev! I’d like to ask, in terms of making a defined jawline, we know that Hyaluronic Acid filler is commonly used, and has been doing a lot, but what about Calcium Hydroxylapetite? What doctor needs to see/know that patient s/he has is a good candidate to get CaHa filler? Although HA filler is considered effortlessly dissolve by HDS, but what about someone who had it with Calcium Hydroxylapatite? Apart from doctor’s reputation, techniques, products used and so on, as far as I know, the longevity of CaHa lasts much longer than HA itself. Having said that, if anything goes wrong, can CaHa filler be dissolved as easily as HA filler? Thank you ☺️🙏❤️

Hi Yuliana, thanks for the excellent and critical question :) I personally used alot of CaHa in the past for face sculpting, however the problem i have with it is this: When used as a filler (in high concentration) it is not as predictable as HA in the long run, parts of it may dissolve sooner than the others and when that happens there isnt much u can do to try to “dissolve CaHa, and then there is safety issue too when unfortunate event happens (like vascular obstruction due to filler) you can’t dissolve CaHa they way we dissolve HA. Now, if longevity is the issue, these days we discover that HA fillers (the good ones and when done correctly at the right depth) has a staying power that is somewhat permanent so i dont see much reason for using CaHa as a filler anymore. That bveing said, we still use CaHA in hyperdiluted form for its collagen boosting property (Neck/Decolletage/Hands and Face rejuvenation)
