Still a massive L that they removed the draft class face editor they had in the beta. That feature would have REVOLUTIONIZED franchise by making it playable past 3 seasons because the players faces would have been different. I know not everyone cares about that but it KILLS immersion.
I think they probably don’t want it in because, what would be the point on getting the next year madden when I already have all the rookies in my previous madden that look just like the real life player.
Things I want for franchise..being able to play on same team as friend with cross play. The other would be face customization for created players..tired of seeing the same faces on franchise..I think that’s the part that makes it feel super repetitive when I’m doing my franchise..so if we could get a way to do custom faces.
Yes being able to play franchise with friends and you guys run the team together and make decisions is great.. i always wanted this also wish we can have an expansion team so we can build up a team from the ground up
Just like how NBA uses free throw, dunk packages etc. madden NEEDS to do that with catch packages, throwing motions/styles, running motions, and more. I think it would make customization & superstar mode better
Am I missing something? Do people catch the ball differently? Running animations make sense but catching? Lol I’d be fine if we could just change the body types up like longer reaches, shorter or longer torso or legs, etc. face customization and tats would be a nice touch as well.

One of the most fun things to do in NCAA is work your way up through the coaching carousel. Decide if you want to take a better coordinator job at a bigger university of continue to do you thing for an interesting head coaching job makes the dynasty mode so much more realistic and entertaining. To see that in Madden would be great.
Duuuude that would be sick to be a coordinator. There could be a be a coach mode sort of like a be a player mode where u start out as a qb coach or something then make your way up to head
If anyone still has Madden 20, compare the 2. I bought the new one and almost immediately went back to the old to compare. Madden 20 is just sharper and more fluid. The hits are harder and the qb's throws look better. The new one is softer and slower.
I remember the one thing I liked from face of the franchise (think it was called something else during this time) was during its early time you could play a bit in college it was kind of cool but then they made dumb storylines
Make your own play would break the game or be buggy as hell at the very least the way maddens engine is set up it couldn’t handle that. They would have to create a whole new engine and get off frostbite for that to work I’m sure.
The wait for the contract to expire continues in this edition of “Roster updates, minor model changes, and stuff that was already in the game.” People are settling way too low when it comes to Madden changes.
I used to love Draft Champions when they used to have TNF drafts where there were special cards you could draft on thursdays (I think that’s what it was). Rewards used to be sooooo good too.
The thing I want the most in madden is to be able to make your OWN PLAYBOOK like custom made plays and formations this would make trick plays a lot more fun and creative and allows to play exactly how u want to madden plz add this

Madden is still not half as realistic as 2K and idk why more fans don’t see that. 1- We need ACTUAL SIDELINE PLAYERS from each team alive and interacting with what’s going on on the field 2- DYNAMIC CROWDS! 3- An actual sideline reporter. 4- Players getting carted off and leaving with injuries. 5- A HALFTIME show! 6- The ability to watch user and cpu matches and replays in Franchise mode. 7- An actual draft animation sequence where we see a commissioner calling player names like 2K
It’s clear that the EA developers don’t know how to represent the NFL. The NFL specializes in presentation and madden represents the NFL poorly and has no presentation.
It has to be a community sticking together in getting changes done no way 2k5 presentations is still better then the current madden so much they could do but won't not tryna hear about budget
As long as the stats don’t cap out at a certain value like they have in the last few games. You have the flash fingers and the 40 yd dash’ll still give you an 82 speed. Make the mini games worth it this time and not just another arbitrary feature
Played face of the franchise as a qb on 23 a bit I was on the Vikings and when ever I threw a deep ball to the best guy on the field (Justin jefferson) he just wouldn’t jump and it would either get picked or swatted and picked or just swatted He had to have a step for him atleast to get his hands on the ball so hope they fixed that
They just need to rebuild the code from the ground up. They are seriously trying to tape pieces of old code together because they don't want to spend money on actual programming skills. Yet they make enough cash every year to go to the moon and back on foot. Problem is EA is so much invested into specific sports like FIFA or NBA that titles like Madden are left in the corner. Bad company management.
Would be cool to see when the new ncaa game comes out if we can take our player from that and import to madden like the old days and use that character in superstar mode. I had so much fun playing the games back in 2006 creating my character in ncaa and going through that and seeing how he ends up in the league.
Something that was also cool in the old ncaa games idk if it was ever in madden but sometimes your players would start taunting/celebrating and if you didn't skip that scene fast enough you'd get a personal foul. (ncaa games were important cause from my perspective they were used to test out features for madden.)
It is sad how I still can’t spin are juke and get around defenders inside not outside with my qb 🤦🏾♂️ than be able to throw the ball like you see with Mahomes are Lamar and the mobile qbs

I swear EA in regard to MADDEN is purposely holding out on the things people want so they can keep it in the bag just in case sales begin to bomb. They can add it in a large patch or something to save the game when sales just happen to be low. Also, they know if they dump a bunch of new great things into a particular season, it will be hard to top that in following seasons and people may not buy it other than the ones who purchase for the fact that it's the newest game!

They need to work on presentation to in game next year. And add maybe all alternate jerseys. A little bit on franchise and superstar mode because they built them up the last couple years. Will community rosters be crossplatform as well? As a pc player all of the rosters have sucked since not a lot of people play on pc. Hopefully it will be better this year since it will be next-gen.
In the all black commanders uni, the team wears the gold secondary colors. It matches the gold on the unis. Did they fix that or is it still broken with the limited wrong options.
Just make an eras mode like 2K even if you have to use a lot of generics. The public will create most of the rosters/draft classes anyways. Make “hype” matter in draft classes too so you can sneak in some steals like a Tom Brady for instance.
What franchise needs to do, look no further then nhl and nba 2k, you can edit all teams and divisions, you can create a 50+ teams league and do a fantasy draft of fully customized teams , customize number of season games, number of playoff games, if I want to import the Frankfurt galaxy, or Amsterdam admirals so be it…. I want full customization

I don’t ever play online with madden simply because there is a delay(meaning when I press a button it will take a solid second or two before it happens) so I refuse to play online

I just wish they would bring back where you could do your own schedule. If playing in a franchise league with 8 people I want to be able to play those 8 people every year. Not just playoffs
The only issue that the new superstar mode is going to have is limiting the mode to 3 vs 3 users. That’s not going to get a lot of play like the yard. The cool thing about the yard was you could play against the Ai and unlock things and easily progress your superstar. Taking that away to a 3 vs 3 superstar showdown is going to be a huge mistake. But flip side the other modes will see more play time like Ultimate Team and Franchise Mode. Super mode is the least played mode anyway
Believe you can still play against the AI if you want to. But if you want to do all users vs all users you can now do that unlike the yard where half your team had to be AI regardless.
One of the things you mentioned in here is the additional things between the plays. Whine I get it. It’s more realistic. I also want a way to just simply turn this off or a way to better fast forward through them. Past years I have dreaded just how many time after almost every play the game went to replays, showed the crowd, showed the sidelines and coaches doing their things. There’s times when I just want to play the game without having to spend an extra 15 minutes a game due to the additional fluff they add in. I’d like a way to decide if we want to turn it on or off
If you just spam the A/X button after plays it brings you right back to the playcall screen. This isn't the same as a replay, this is something you can bypass immediately if you want.
I don’t know how y’all feel about this but. One thing I’ve wanted FOREVER is to be a kicker in superstar mode. Just like in MLB the show, put us in situations to make a field goal. Being a kicker, I would just love that so much.
One problem I have is linemen in the draft sometimes have a body like a WR and vice versa, I hope it can be patched it just kind of bothers me in franchise mode, plus some of the drills in training camp involve a lot of RNG.

The most frustrating thing is the difficulty of forcing fumbles. It's been like this for a number of years now
They added absolutely nothing new to Franchise Mode.. All they did is put in features that they removed years ago

Relocation teams have alternate uniforms this year so 3 jerseys and 3 pants 9 combos total

Draft champions was the best mode madden ever had. 1v1 your friend was the most fun thing they had.

I heard tht the diving throw happens just every so often and not on every play

Nope, starting to think it's not coming out this year.
I don’t know how y’all feel about this but. One thing I’ve wanted FOREVER is to be a kicker in superstar mode. Just like in MLB the show, put us in situations to make a field goal. Being a kicker, I would just love that so much.
Can you actually play on the DL and not just Lb and CB positions

One problem I have is linemen in the draft sometimes have a body like a WR and vice versa, I hope it can be patched it just kind of bothers me in franchise mode, plus some of the drills in training camp involve a lot of RNG.
PLS HELP so I have a great pc I have alll the requirements except ram I have 8 gigs and it needs 12 gigs do I have to buy the 4 gig ram stick to play next gen on my PC??
