For those who don’t know, this gun actually is the gun that the CT is holding in ths CS:GO logo. Hilariously, the gun in the logo is itself not present in the game.
This would be a cool gun imo - I actually think two more rifles, one for CT and Ts would be seriously cool considering the variety available for snipers, SMGs and pistols.

the view tilt is fucking exaggerated and added together with the equip animation, you get a face full of scar with zero visibility for at least half a second
Offline game in untrusted mode + model/animation/sound replacement (maybe zool smiths tool makes it easier) You "can" play in online matchmaking with a cheat.... but you'd be banned

@@sodamanfromsodaland1548 mk20 ssr is not *the* scar h, it is *based* on the scar h. it has a longer barrel and all of the other enhancements such as longer rails, adjustable stock, etc. scar h is also a battle rifle while the SSR is a dmr/sniper rifle. not sure if youre talking about the stats in game or the real life weapon but still, wanted to point these things out
For all those guys who want the scar in cs go, here is the issue. Scar fires at a near 600 rounds per minute, but consider all guns in cs go fire slower than their real life counter part, the scar would be set about 550 rpm. If the scar-l is added, it will be a slower m4, if the scar-h is added, it will be a faster scar-20. Both are unbalanced and unnecessary.
valve can do anything with the stats. what they could do is to make a semi auto only rifle with 35 damage body shots but it's balanced by having a lower rate of fire + maybe also has to be fired in semi auto. SCAR-H for the CTs and maybe a T FAL equivalent

At that point it is just better to have a fal and a g3, since Scar-h was meant to be a select fire (though Valve doesn't know what that is) battle rifle that pretty much serve a heavy-assault rifle role. Also, you suggest to have a battle rifle that 3 shots, but at the end of the day, the Scar-ssr that almost cannot "hipfire" and shoots hella slow is still considered op; it does 2 shot but then our assumption is that the scar-h will shoot faster than the marksman rifle variant.
so basically instead of the old choices of either spray the body or tap the head, you can now tap the body and win, since what semi-auto in csgo means that you only have to worry about muzzle-return time instead of recoil pattern.

guys i have a question the magazine that is on weapon isnt it the one from heavy scar? 7.62x51? I think the magazine is not correct for the ammo type supose to be.. (5.56x45nato) (scar-light)
I think the scar would be a good addition to the cts as a replacement for an m4/aug as a competitor of the ak with one shot on the head kills but a higher recoil
I like this idea. The scar would be a bit more expensive than the aug, maybe $3500. To balance with the T's I think it'd be a good idea to add something like the ak-74s to fill an inverse role there. Similar to the M4A1-S, the 74s would have easier recoil to control than the AK and would have lower damage as it's 5.45x39 not 7.62.
Imagine reloading a gun like that in CSGO, .. I don't think its something the devs are willing to do though, but its so satisfying to just plop out and plop in and thats it back into the fight like it should be. But nooo, take the clip out.. find another clip somewhere on you, only to find three or four more clips, and pick eenie meenie miney mo, oh I'll take this clip! .. put it back into the gun.. slap the clip into the gun.. and then take your time to load a bullet into the gun itself. By the time that all happens, the enemy hears you reloading, walks towards you, sees you, and has all the time in the world to either knife stab while you're "reloading" or take a close-up sniper shot to the head.
