@@MrMarkkortekaas I ended up just doing it, it's super simple. The top of the antenna cover just pops off. You can remove the left side tupperware and trace the original xm antenna wire back to the receiver. (It's the pink connector on the receiver) I just cut my original wire at the antennal and fed the new wire through and along the original wire. Something to note is I'd only use a genuine xm antenna, I first tried another brand off of Amazon and it was no better than the original. I then bought the SiriusXM branded antenna and it works perfect. Something else to note is I did remove the windshield before I popped the antenna cover off, that made it a lot easier.
@@redbull8661 when you unplugged the old antenna from the XM box, how did you connect the new antenna to that funky FAKRA connector? Or did you just buy a FAKRA adapter?
Thanks for sharing. Successful adaptations are always insightful and helpful. Btw Garmin’s XT2 with similar 3D adapter also works very well.
I am not seeing your XM antenna move video. Only an XM Radio test. Do you have a link?
It's part 2 of the video.
@@KimMoonbmwmoonie I'm not seeing any part 2 to that video.
@@redbull8661 I looked also and not seeing it ? Would be great to see as have the same issue and better to see before I start 😀

Its an awesome system... when it works. I ultimately just bolted up a Zumo xt to a ram mount. Problem solved LOL
How did you wire it to the Bike?
Directly from the battery? I only used the power
Need to increase recording fps, video quite jerky.
Sadly it was the processing.. It's recorded at 30fps
When i get a chance I'll repost it.
Thanks do not worry I have an iPhone and it does not work ….. plus i don’t like that BMW has all my data
Unlike the rest of the Internet.. 😉
