Leatherneck this made me tear up. The way you honored your Devil Dogs was amazing. I lost some Marines and would do anything to honor them. I’m sure they would love the fact you help keep their memory alive. Amazing work on your PR! Semper Fi !! Jesse USMC Vet 03-07
The ending made me tear up, I know that feeling of fighting an injury and pushing it to finish. You had an incredible reason to finish and you should be proud of yourself!
Good effort mate, great that you finished in memory for your brothers. I'm a uk veteran and this time of year is always for remerance, gone but never forgotten
GREAT race Joshua, 3:07 on that course is no joke. Thanks for having served and respect to your brothers who have passed on. MAJ(ret.) Pennington, US Army
Well done, man!! Such an amazing event. Not sure how you held it together… the flags, the faces of fallen fellow Marines… it’s truly a marathon like no other!
I'm not sitting here crying-you're sitting here crying! Seriously though, what a run! I did it in 2013 and 2022...coming back next year for the 50th running!
Nice Job! I set my PR at the MCM 10 years ago and without a doubt it was the best organized race I have ever done, can't wait to run it again some day.
Congrats! I'm a runner but I was in DC for other reasons. No clue it was the same weekend until Saturday night. I was a crowd supporter this year but hope to be a runner for the 50th next year!
Great run and congrats on the PR! Thanks for letting me see this run from your perspective, I was a little further back...my first MCM with a PR as well. I've wanted to do this run since the 90s and finally got it done. It was great being around all the active duty Marines on the course. I agree with you on the elevation. Semper Fi & Blessings brother!
Thanks for posting this. While my race fell apart around mile 24 (quad cramps), it was still an amazing overall experience and seeing it again - especially the wear blue mile - through your video was awesome. Thank you.
Well done. You are breathing comfortably through the entire race so your fitness was on point! Sorry to hear about the injury flaring up. You'll get it next time!
There's definitely a few hills on the course. The one near the end gets you. Question for you. Do you like the coros watch and heart rate monitor? I thought about getting them along with the foot pod
I really enjoy the coros pace 3 and hr monitor. I use them on a daily basis and have found them both to be reliable and beneficial for monitoring my data while running and afterwards.
That finish gave me chills, you are an inspiration. What an effort in honor of incredible people 💙
Thank you Michael!

It was a great race. Next year may have to happen because it's the 50th running. But we will see.

Sorry to hear about the quad cramps. Hopefully you finished well and can recover quickly. And it was a great race.
Bro! I remember you! I was behind you (bib 1321) at 5:09. You reminded me to eat my gel at the 5k lmao
Nice! Hope you had a great race!
Beautiful run and tribute! Great work on the PR and toughing that one out!
Thank you!

Didn’t get the goal you wanted, but still a good run. There’s no such thing as an easy marathon. Well done. Don’t give up.
Thank you!
You will find the streets are guarded by the United States Marine! Hoorah! Strong work!
Thank you!
Fantastic race. Sub 3:00 is coming

Followed both you and Andrew on the app. You guys were not more than a few seconds from each other before you pulled ahead. We'll done.
