We are energy. Over 40 years ago, I had a near death experiences, which was also an out of body experience. As soon as I exited my body, I noticed how calm and peaceful it was. I was completely at peace. Then I saw my body, and the very first thought was I think I'm dead. But I realized right away that my sense of awareness and consciousness was still with me, I'm still here, I'm still me, and I'm very much alive. I had the sensation of floating on air, and I was sensing that I was some sort of energy, and I'm pure mind. Very serene and tranquil. Then came a moment that I knew I was in the presence of the Source. the Divine, the Great Spirit, God, the Universal Conscientiousness, or whatever someone chooses to call this. I was sensing acceptance and sensing unconditional love. which was so far off the scale that it's difficult to describe in words. A beautiful and incredible experience. The last thing I experienced was what I call the Oneness. Sort of like the oneness of the universe, or the oneness of everything. Somehow, I knew that everything is one. I returned to my body right after this. This Oneness is a spiritual matter, and not a religious matter. It's sometimes called the Inner Person, and this is who we really are. Probably the person who we were intended to be. This is also what is called our spirit. This is the part of us that is eternal. One day, we will shed our bodies, and then we will be completely free. I recall Jesus saying: You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. I also know this is true. We will transform from a physical creature to a spiritual creature. In essence, we will be pure mind, minus our physical bodies. There is no reason to be fearful and nothing to be afraid of. The overwhelming majority of people who have a NDE report a beautiful experience. Very few people have a hellish experience. Just do the best you can with your human lives, and relax. Everything will be alright.

Paramahansa Yogananda wrote very insightful books. Kabul Gabrahn also. Growing up surrounded by American Indian people also brought forth a respect for Mother Earth. Numerous Native American books such as "Black Elk Speaks"...."Touch the Earth"....."Plenty Coup, Chief of the Crow"....many others. My mindset is that of the fact that there is no one true religion, but the truth is found by an understanding / melding of all religions. But the human factor often blurs the real path.
My father passed away 2 years ago and my 9 year old son said to me ' mummy don't be sad, grandad is still here. I’m so glad I read this, I’m struggling with the loss of my sister and something she shared with me before she died was that she was not afraid. That’s she’s been reading and while she didn’t and wasn’t going to do anything to bring death - she just wasn’t afraid or worried about it. Maybe she experienced this in one form or another but I appreciate this post even if just for a moment it helps me love with out the why and what if’s.

Actually, between lives we do choose certain characteristics about the "suit" we wear in the next incarnation. We also choose our parents "and" our name. All I can say is this and hope you will understand. You have a feeling of "being you" you feel you are alive. But what is this "you". Everything and I mean everything changes. The world around you, your family, your body, one moment you're healthy another you're sick. One moment you think you're pretty awesome, another you think you're a piece of shit. If even your thoughts about "yourself" change. Then "who" are you really? You are that which ties together the past and the future into the present but which is always in the present. Joel Goldsmith was involved in Christian Science which is where he got the ideas you are reading in his book. The course in Miracles author also claimed that her message was a direct message from Jesus to write that book. However her grandmother and other family members were Christian Scientist. Elkhart Tolle, read Joel Goldsmith's book and then had a awakening and wrote his own books, what he doesn't mention is that he knows the full ideas that Joel wrote about were and offshoot of Christian Science. The church of unity, is also am offshoot of C.S. The book the Secret, if you look in the back of the book it gives you lists of people the ideas in the book came from and yes you guessed it more than of of them are/were Christian Scientist. I experienced a near death several years ago, i was resurrected in the morgue with two collapsed lungs and a exploded aorta, i should have died, in the state i call spirit, i experienced absolute 'connectedness' to everything and everything is one. I'm writing about my experience of spirit, I came back, this might sound crazy, and i have been debating this for several years, should i tell them, would anyone actually listen. I've been shown something amazing, something truthful and complete. And what we are experiencing right now, is our journey back to completeness. There are two things that we experience in this awareness (pain + separation) our ego keeps us convicted of this and that is why we never leave this plain, in this and many other lifetimes. The only way out is through true forgiveness. That's so badass. I got hit by car, thrown 75ft off my motorcycle, broke both my legs my bones piercing through my skin, broken ankles, fractured hip, dislocated should dislocated torn bladder spine fractured and a broken wrist... I landed across the street onto a sidewalk, I was coughing out my own blood... a police man just happen to be in the area and call an ambulance just in time... I have my own little fun experiences from this... unbelievable pain O.o ... lol the whole time I was excited, telling myself " this is it! this is my near death experience.. " and looked around as I woke in the hospital 3 days later with a breathing tube, waiting for cool spiritual stuff to happen... my expectation may have been a bit high haha I did receive from what I believe to be a telepathic communication for an extraterrestrial/higher dimensional being, I awoke from a vivid dream with my mind uplifted as i questioned my own existence with the dream.... the right hemisphere of my brain was vibrating immensely as if tapping into a thought my mind was simply translating/unraveling a block of thought into words I could understand. I heard endless words in a monotone voice, the only words I managed to pick up on were " galaxy... light... and you may not be able to understand fully... " my next memory was waking up in the hospital.... how badass it that!? :D ... I completely bedridden for a year, I could do literally nothing for myself... try to imagine that? i had to learn to walk all over again...I'm totally unbelievably strong/jacked now... but that's another story lol

I thank you, genuinely, for being who and/or what you are. 3 years ago I was breaking, and then it finally happened, I had a heart attack at 23 years old, since then, I've been broken of what I thought was beyond repair. All the pain ive endured, relationships and friendships I destroyed due to my own cynicism and refusal to accept things as they are, and as they are playing out to be. Prior to hearing your words I was in a dark tunnel, in still in that tunnel but I feel like you just handed me a flashlight. I will overcome this. I will become the person I always aspired to be, the person that I was before trauma altered my mindshare. Again, I thank you.

Thing I Hear you talk about jim carrey for years as fan. I know believe from my own spiritual practice. Ive suffered from schizophrenia since i was 19. Spent most of my adult like a zoombie highly medicated from the doctor. On 25 tablets a day. I was even on medication for the side effects of my medication. Also self medicated with drugs and alcohol. After my daughter was born. I need to take back control of my life and help heal my mind. So i started praying and meditating regular. Started reading alsorts of spiritual teacher from jesus and the budda to guru in indian. Also stopped poison my body and mind. Exercised regular. Now im the happiest ive ever been. The last thing I experienced was what I call the Oneness. Sort of like the oneness of the universe, or the oneness of everything. Somehow, I knew that everything is one. This Oneness is a spiritual matter, and not a religious matter. It's sometimes called the Inner Person, and this is who we really are. Probably the person who we were intended to be. This is also what is called our spirit. This is the part of us that is eternal. One day, we will shed our bodies, and then we will be completely free. I recall Jesus saying: You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. I also know this is true. We will transform from a physical creature to a spiritual creature. In essence, we will be pure mind, minus our physical bodies. There is no reason to be fearful and nothing to be afraid of. The overwhelming majority of people who have a NDE report a beautiful experience. Very few people have a hellish experience. Just do the best you can with your human lives, and relax. Everything will be alright.

Paramahansa Yogananda wrote very insightful books. Kabul Gabrahn also. Growing up surrounded by American Indian people also brought forth a respect for Mother Earth. Numerous Native American books such as "Black Elk Speaks"...."Touch the Earth"....."Plenty Coup, Chief of the Crow"....many others. My mindset is that of the fact that there is no one true religion, but the truth is found by an understanding / melding of all religions. But the human factor often blurs the real path.

This is the very quote that has stuck with me is this video. I stumbled across this 4 years ago. It a moment in life where I was finally stumbling into spirituality and braking free of old habits and ways. I was in the process of a spiritual experience. I heard this and that very line didn't make sense to me. Everything else that was said resonated so hard but the one quote. But it isn't as complicated as it sounds...we already have everything we need....ego is what was in conflict with this quote. Something so simply hard for humans to grasp.... there's nothing you can do to add to yourself and nothing you do will take away from you. It's a play of "form" extremely profound.

So that whosever believe that in him ,shall not perish but have eternal life" 1John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousnesswas" Acts 1:8 " But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." We must then continue in His ways! Follow God with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding.

That's so badass. I got hit by car, thrown 75ft off my motorcycle, broke both my legs my bones piercing through my skin, broken ankles, fractured hip, dislocated should dislocated torn bladder spine fractured and a broken wrist... I landed across the street onto a sidewalk, I was coughing out my own blood... a police man just happen to be in the area and call an ambulance just in time... I have my own little fun experiences from this... unbelievable pain O.o ... lol the whole time I was excited, telling myself " this is it! this is my near death experience.. " and looked around as I woke in the hospital 3 days later with a breathing tube, waiting for cool spiritual stuff to happen... my expectation may have been a bit high haha I did receive from what I believe to be a telepathic communication for an extraterrestrial/higher dimensional being, I awoke from a vivid dream with my mind uplifted as i questioned my own existence with the dream.... the right hemisphere of my brain was vibrating immensely as if tapping into a thought my mind was simply translating/unraveling a block of thought into words I could understand. I heard endless words in a monotone voice, the only words I managed to pick up on were " galaxy... light... and you may not be able to understand fully... " my next memory was waking up in the hospital.... how badass it that!? :D ... I completely bedridden for a year, I could do literally nothing for myself... try to imagine that? i had to learn to walk all over again...I'm totally unbelievably strong/jacked now... but that's another story lol

Thing I Hear you talk about jim carrey for years as fan. I know believe from my own spiritual practice. Ive suffered from schizophrenia since i was 19. Spent most of my adult like a zoombie highly medicated from the doctor. On 25 tablets a day. I was even on medication for the side effects of my medication. Also self medicated with drugs and alcohol. After my daughter was born. I need to take back control of my life and help heal my mind. So i started praying and meditating regular. Started reading alsorts of spiritual teacher from jesus and the budda to guru in indian. Also stopped poison my body and mind. Exercised regular. Now im the happiest ive ever been. Im on three tablets a day for my schizophrenia and im healthy enough to be in my daughter life. Love this video. Connect with it on so many levels xx

Whom because of his fame and wealth would naturally find it very easy to say "there's nothing to do but play"....for many this may seem desirable and worthy of praise but the strenuous nature of work for the necessity of basic survival is often dictated by bosses and landlords and banks and this does not necessarily harmonize with a life of play. Perhaps...the worldview you and the video is describing is one where a person has transcended the fear of death...and the fear of deprivation...Something akin to a Guru in a Cave. This sounds powerful in a way and yet being in the world of civilization and technology is apparently way more enticing to most people...and this entails the disciplines around money because civilization is built and maintained through exchanges using money. Jim is riding a wave atop immense success and I appreciate him using his fame to give voice to deep insights.
