A build that is more Silent Heart-like than Silent Heart
isn’t insane that this game has reached a point in its life that you have to “force” people to utilize its basic skill function

If your m1s do high dmg, it is considered brain dead just like silenthearts doing nothing but parry trading and everyone thinks theyre all unskilled because how much damage their m1s deal, which i somewhat agree with.

Notice how it was ONLY the Shadow user who complained and folded almost immediately when put under pressure for like 5 seconds. Its almost like they all play the game on easy mode with the best attunement in the game and can't handle not being able to mantra spam. The guy who complained at the end atleast tried adapting and only complained when he died.
Ok so I know the shadow user he's in my guild and is my Best friend. He almost Nevers use cringy build like this and complain the same as you about those mantra. But you need to understand that is build is a mage build (not a m1 build) and other is a base m1 build. I totaly understand he's pov you just can't do a thing to win

What a hero keeping the deepwoken chime clear of mantra spams
if possible you should get reinforce and taunt (sing is optional), but taunt will make it harder for them to run away/jump around meaning they have to parry trade
sing for encore to guarantee shadow chains if u can’t sheathe

Friend of mine. He use a build like everyone (he dont like at all those type of shadow build) but you need to understand that if your build is a mage build being forced to m1 is NOT fun at all you need to take the pov of him too to be able to judge 😊

running and sliding are the only viable ones, plus 2 of the crits are just reused

Bro people are avoiding parry trades at all cost. They jump out of parry stun, airswing, swing again. Anything but parry trade
Airswinging is punishable, but it's depressing people can't do the bare minimum and basics

Funny how people complain about this when in multiple cases when THEY ARE THE ONES AT ADVANTAGE. Silent hearts, star kindreds, blade harpers, most legendary weapons all have natural advantage in this due to having more options and mix ups

To be fair this is still a cheese build, completly locking people out of using all their abilities unless you're a silentheart is cheese, but I find it funny how the biggest cheese builds, a pyrekeeper and shadow mage complained most.
This specific one isnt, but it could be. If he had other mantras to deal damage i could understand, this specific build with only mantras that stop the other from using mantras while he himself has no damage mantras puts them on a even playing field (Block, Parry, Dodge)

why is this like the ''true silentheart'' build. Also this seems fun as hell, ive been missing the old days of deep and been complaining but i could have literally done what you did in this video ALL THIS TIME and stopped yelling into a void. I've lost a lot of my skill since mantra spam became the meta, so I can't wait to go make this build and try it out in combat.

the only thing about this build being “cheese” is detonation really cuz it does give you more of an advantage in the parry trades

Someways you could probably use the build more effectively:
Use the blindseer thing in tandem with shadow chains so they cant run as much (put modifiers on it brah..)
Wait for your shadow chains to travel a bit and then proc posers that way its actually true
Learn how to uppercut behind block
Its an actual unique build that i wanted to show how i would probably use it im not telling you how to play your own build obviously but its just some lil tips that i picked up from this video

honestly this build looks really fun, I might make something similar to it to force myself to parry trade more because I've noticed me just defaulting to mantra spam too often and I heavily dislike silent heart

I think that all this "build vs build" idea is actually the playerbase fault, people be relying more on their 2km shadow gun and 100 damage m1s than their parry skills or non-cheese builds which are balanced and can go alright against anything (and not be fully countered by another cheese like the saltalchemist shadow hb guy)
if we all copy this build we might be able to suppress the mages
we gotta create an army with this build and name it the anti-mage rebellion to make deepwoken good again
hey fyi lose your mind isn't that good as everyone says since if you want the full 15% damage buff you need 0 sanity at which you're pretty much dead and at most when you're tier 1-2 sanity you get 5% damage buff, I recommend investing those 80 points into a different stat tree or even getting reinforced with it. 😎👍
I thought when you popped heretics you get 20 seconds of proxy "max" sanity which gives you the full dmg buff, which works with piercing will as well because it requires you to "actively" lose sanity?

explaining pros and cons of 80 wp stat point:
you'll get max damage at tier 3 insanity, which is 0 sanity
but at 0 sanity, you get autogrip the moment you're knocked and there's a small stun for having 0 sanity
while activating heretic sutra, you lose sanity this will proc piercing will and shared misery
when using 80 wp its recommend to use it for the pen, clearly you only get 1 extra damage if you have like 5% dmg buff
i recommend going 85 for shared misery if you want to build around that because applying insanity to your enemy is good
if they dont have unfazed, tier 3 will autogrip and stun them
80 if you want the pen

Had something close to this on a 250+ year old animal king slot. The stats are definitely horrible by today’s standards. I used blindseer since I was tired of oathless and couldn’t get visionshaper. Saw the shadow chain talent and thought it was neat. Used it to seal people if we were flooding

(but because of these interactions its probably due to you having better ping not entirely sure but its still an issue that kind of makes parry trading not really parry trades)
Anyways some stuff u need modifiers to ur shadow chains with a blessed gem so people won't run and u can truly immobilize someone so they won't run away
alternatively you could also run specter gale just for the talents which I guess would be good for the overworld but idk that was my original idea for a build like this but like I kinda stopped playing for a long while :D
