One of my favorite stops. Navigating through the Wasp islands is tricky. I saw a sailboat stuck near a warning piling (black/white) - took corner too close. I explored using the bus into East Sound and shopped in the village. Deer harbor resort with use of the pool across the road was nice and the marina store at the top of the ramp is really quaint and family oriented. Nice for hikes or biking. Thanks for the Drone tour!
We have been re-watching your videos now that we are up here! We stayed at deer harbor last weekend. Great little marina with a nice selection of food options near by. I do want to warn others that need cell service (a must for work) that this place is a huge dead zone. AT&T, and Verizon both completely unavailable. The marina does have free wifi, and its spotty at best. We had to leave early to get cell reception. Blind Bay has excellent cell service!
Cyberous that’s too bad but glad you had luck in Blind Bay! We always have better cell coverage in the San Juan’s and Canada than we ever do back in Seattle which is funny. Tech capital of the world and can’t figure out cell service 🤔 Hopefully you got to walk into Orcas near the ferry for a little vino at the wine bar or carrot cake at the general store 👍
@@mvfreedom Ill push back on the Seattle being the "tech capitol of the world" :-) Here in SF Bay Area, the Golden Triangle as we call it, in the South Bay, bordered by Hwy 237, Hwy 101 and Hwy 880 form a triangle, and there are more high tech companies there than anywhere in the world, hands down, and that doesn't include the SF peninsula or the East Bay. But I get where your coming from. Happy times in these vids.
It's my dream to live in kirkland wa. I will get there. You guys need to post more often cause the wait is just killing me. More vids please, I use your vids as kind of like a vision board if that makes sense. Thanks and big kisses to Sandy
Thanks!
