How fun to have your daughter helping you. I just returned from a trip visiting my daughter where we crafted for two FULL days. There is nothing better!!
You are so fortunate that your lovely daughter likes to help! When my son was young he was afraid to touch anything for fear of breaking something! Even my granddaughter didn't want to help set up or take down. I bought some of the black and yellow bins at Costco for all the extras I've created this year and PTL they fit exactly into my village closet. And the trees I made are carefully laid on top in the box.
Yes, I am fortunate. Whatever I am doing, Aliyah is always right by my side to help. She is such a gift. That girl has no fear, she tries to do everything. 😂🤣 That’s perfect that your new bins fit your special Christmas closet. Isn’t that awesome when a plan comes together?!
😂🤣😂🤣. That is hilarious, I was thinking the same thing as I put it all away. I will tell Aliyah you said hello. I meant to tell you the other day both the kids started school last week. Their school does a “me bag” that the kids take 3 things that they want to share with the class. Both the kids decided to take their Christmas village trophies on their first day of school. 😁
@@MiriamsManner Oh, that's priceless! I feel very honored they chose their trophies and they deserve to brag about their beautifully created Christmas villages in 2021 and 2020! They may have started something in their school??? Dewan and Aliyah are both very talented and creative...just like their Mom and Dad! Getting emotional again!! LOL

Hey Judith, I keep some of them just in case I might want to use them in a different way. Most of the time I through them away since I put my trees directly into my styrofoam base. 😁. Yes, I had the sweet helper possible. 😁

When the village is together, you never even think that you have as many trees as there actually is when you are taking them down to store away. Good thing you did use the larger bin. And I too, place my village items in a Christmas tree bin as well! That way things don't get misplaced around house.
