Give you chills!!! Great video with some of the most amazing people you can ever meet! Keep up the hard work all of you!!! And Please PB, another Double or Nothing next year!!!!
Two of my favorite brands (Alliance xTGR) coming together for a great story. All the videos and interviews were amazing! Not that my opinion matters but wish it was a bit longer. So much more history on how double or nothing came about and so many great videos of past and current ones. Just my 2 cents great video just could have used a little more.....
Hi! How are you? Korea/Seoul has been raining, windy, snowy and cold since this week. Winter has literally begun. I hope health and good things will be with you for the rest of the week. ^^
Petrol and skunk smoke rolling across the perfect Florida glass. The Ski Nautique, loaded with 3 fat sacks and a waterbed bladder, sets out for the dawn patrol. A Millencollin cd produces a crunchy blown out tone that resonates across the water into the cypress trees. A Horrel cassette wakeskate and a Byerly BadAss board are the arsenal of the day. A little squirt of dish soap in each binding and a good smash distributes the lube, never forget the soap. Ahhh breath in the lemony crisp scent as the rainbow creeps along the water's surface. Resurrection, as the boat pulls you up out of the tea water, like a zombie from the underworld. Now we're planed out at full throttle... half way across lake Pickett. Easing her back down to 18-21mph without bogging. Constantly monitoring the thumb up/down in the rearview until we found the sweet spot. Riding between a "monster" thigh high wake and the grass line as the homie adjusts throttle. Seizing the opportunity to bust a jib off a bloated gar carcass. Watching the hardline slack and pull the pylon like you've got a fish on! Hanging it out wide for that perfect radius. Keeping the turn flat and aiming nearly perpendicular to your target. You can feel the G building between the handle and the wheel, that feeling is pure energy for both rider and driver. The moment is brand new every time, "every double up is different", the narrative couldn't be more true. You've timed the rhythm just right on this one. You have created a monstrosity of waist high peaks dancing in liquid fury. The perfect lip puckers up and your friend is about to get BUCKED! and he does... he does get fuggin' bucked to the moon. A fat fs grab 540? a scarecrow to beyond flat? Whatever the maneuver was didn't matter. "Are your ACLs intact? Good. Let's do it again." Then you see "the boys" getting geared up across the lake and you deem it best to park it. You name them, they were there. And they ripped every session. Hooting and hollering each other into a frenzy of progression and creative physical expression! Respect was major back then. It was a front row seat to watch some of the best wakeboarders pioneer the craft on one of the best lakes. In fact, it is the best, we can fight about it. I wasn't aware of what I was witnessing then, but I'm very grateful for the memories now. ❤ -a very humble FLman
