Public speaking is a fundamental skill of this time.
While most young people are not scared about dancing in front of a camera on TikTok, not so many young people are comfortable with speaking publicly in front of a multitude of people in an in-person event.
My journey to becoming an eloquent speaker did not happen overnight. I made mistakes publicly and privately. Lol.
But I was committed to getting over any fear I had so I worked tirelessly to ensure that I improved daily.
Public Speaking meant I would access better opportunities. So that was my biggest motivation.
You too can become great in speaking. Whether it's speaking in front of a camera or just making a speech in front of investors or just a group of friends.
You will be encouraged to know that this is a skill that even the renowned businessman Warren Buffett struggled with for some time before he finally got a hang of it. So you are not alone. And this is what he had to say about mastering public speaking.
