Removing the Flywheel from a BS60Y Wacker with a WM80 Engine. Includes making the puller.
Also, in the end, as you can see from the thumbnail, I used heat to get it to release, applied via a small paraffin blowlamp.

That popped off nicely once the tension and heat were in action - it's a very satisfying "ping" when the bond is finally broken. Really must dig out our old paraffin blow lamps.........

Cheers Mick. Not the first option I tried, but it really didn't want to let go.
That's my smallest paraffin blowtorch. Couldn't get to it with my small gas one because it goes out in the confined space. The paraffin ones draw their air from the rear.

No, it's an engine made by Wacker Newson, model WM80.

Yes. You need a bit of force but tapers can really lock.
