Nice job on the crate. 👍 What did you use to cut the other crate for your cover? Jigsaw or dremel tool? Not a fan of the other way TH-camrs used as a top cover. I love your way of doing your cover!

I actually used a hand saw, but a jig saw will work well. After it was cut down, I used an electric sander to sand down all the sharp edges.

It was a tight fit in an outback but worked. I think I may have put it sideways. I really mainly used this in a pro angler though

So, did I get this right ? You predrilled holes for the rod holders, and then out self tapping screws they to a washer and nut ??

I predrilled the holes and then ran #10 bolts from rural king through the rod holders and into the crate with a washer and nut on them. The self tapping screws were only for the half of the lid
