Hi Julia, I really enjoyed this Christmas card tutorial, and just maybe it might inspire me to start my Christmas cards earlier this year. I like the 3D look to the Christmas cards, and it is wonderful how they can be flattened to pop in the post. Just before you stamped the Christmas tree stamp on the back of the card I was thinking "NO...!" But you did, and what a good recovery in fussy cutting another Christmas tree image, and gluing it down over the the original. Sometimes we crafters have to think quickly to cover mistakes. These are easy to make and very well received! I think you could use acetate and acrylic white paint spatter to make the snowfall, if the Hunkydory acetate is not still available.
Thanks Morgaine! Those were SO well received. I think you could do white acrylic paint spatter on acrylic and then put the paint on the inside if you can't find the Hunky Dory acetate.
@@SeniorSusieStamps You did a fantastic job creating them while making it so easy. I been working through several 6 x 6 paper pads using some OWH card sketches to practice and gain experience. Hopefully by September, I should feel more confident in my skills and might attempt a couple of the acetate cards for my sister and nephews. For sure I have added the video to my Christmas card playlist on TH-cam. Hope you are doing well and settling in as best you can and enjoying your new surroundings and community.
