Note the lack of bottle cages, it takes some fiddling to get the arms in the right place to reach the frame. I might buy a pair of longer arms to suit but otherwise I love it.

How is the quality of the tilt mechanism after some years? I've got an older Thule EuroWay 945, but the tilt mechanism is so poorly designed that there's a few cm of play which makes my bikes bang against eachother on speedbumps. Also the clearance is only 17cm between eachother. Is it wider on this?
The video title says it is a "2-bike" rack but at the end of the video 3 bikes were loaded on it.
You are correct, the video shows Thule EasyFold XT for 2 bikes. But from 2:00 to 3:24 we show the accessory Thule EasyFold XT Loading Ramp and that we demonstrate on a version for 3 bikes :) /Thule team

No, it is not compatible with full suspension ebikes. The hands are not designed proprerly
Am I seeing correctly that you can determine the tilt angle yourself when installing?
Hi Jan, You can not specify the tilt angle on Thule EasyFold XT 2 unfortunately. The bike carrier "only" has one tilt angle. Kind regards, Thule Team
Will that hold an 85 lb e bike?
No it cant, 30kg per bike is the maximum weight. We do not have any carrier that go up to 40kg per bike.
Will the loading ramp hold ebike weighing 70 lbs?

bikes in XL sizes can't fit in this because you don't provide adjustable wheel stands....
What is the purpose of the wheel shown at 0:15?

Unfortunately the Easyfold XT does not fit most Ebikes - the wheel straps are too short and the mounting arms are not long enough. Its a shame because its a nice idea - just not properly designed.

@@jakajaksa4017 One potential problem is that in most countries having any load protuding out to the sides of the vehicle is strictly forbidden. Long wheelbase bikes would be a problem to carry on this without taking one or two wheels off.
You gotta buy tge xl straps i have a himiway zebra its a big bike with 4.5" tires and ut fits perfectly

Design of the hands for holding bikes is soo bad and primitive. Imposible for Full suspension bikes. Why is so hard to make hands with adjustable lenght and rotational joint?
