Recent subscriber here. Great work. I've seen some of these words in sentences before and had no idea they were as + pronoun combinations. This video was really useful to help me now recognise all these combinations :)
I have just recently discovered your videos, and am really enjoying them - you are a delight to listen to! I am a complete beginner, with knowledge of other languages, but Irish is a completely different kettle of fish 😉 As I am of Irish descent, and am now the proud owner of an Irish passport, I thought I might like to find out a bit about the language. So thanks, and please keep the videos coming!
Love this!! Thank you!! Learning Irish on Duolingo and Rosetta Stone has been a challenge in some areas because there isn't much instruction, if any at all... Go raibh maith agat!! Sláinte!!
Those learning apps are great for starting off and building up a bit of knowledge and confidence. But they will only go so far. Míle fáilte romhat agus Beannachtaí na Cásca ort 🎉
Níl muinín ar bith agam asti. I hadn't seen prepositional pronouns next to each other before! Would love to see a video talking about that in more depth
Welcome back, did you see my video on Norway? I made it a few months ago just before you disappeared I think 🇳🇴😅 th-cam.com/video/vbuBd-j0860/w-d-xo.html
@@LearnIrish Hello again 😊 Yes I saw that video. It was great. How would you like to make a video about how to express your feelings for someone you love?? Just for fun 😊 Hope you are well, and the rest of your family too.
@@Michael-bf1dt Dia dhuit Michael 🙂 I'm trying, but I have been away a lot. Lots of stuff going on. In and out of hospitals 🤕 It's been a while since I learned anything new. But hopefully I will come back stronger. It's been a million things to think about. Oíche mhaith 😴🛌
One question. On the list written in blue (English pronouns), you are mixing, if I'm not wrong, the subject and the object pronouns (so I don't know the corresponding translation). I mean: I / me you / you he / him she / her (it / it) we / us you / you they / them So...?
GRMMA . Very useful. I can see now where I have been making mistakes and confusing others. I`ll work on applying this structure. Slán go fóil and do continue looking after yourself.

I like to make videos the way I like to watch them 😅
Go raibh míle maith agat, a Dhane! The vast and specific usage of all the prepositions can be very confusing and this is very helpful!
Glad to help, best wishes and stay safe

Thank you very much for your lecture!
You look like Sir Sean Connery!!!! He was a great and handsome actor!!
That's a great compliment, I'll grow a féasóg now.
Go raibh maith agat! Using Duolingo I never was clear on those prepositions until now.
You're very welcome, Duolingo is a very good resource but it can't cover everything..
Go raibh míle maith agat a Dane!!! Bhain mé an-sult as an fhísean seo.
Maith thú, thaitin sé liom!
At 1:26 you show the word 'yee' in the english column, can't say i've heard of that one.
Hello from Co. Antrim btw. :-)
Perhaps I'm guilty of using my Wexford colloquialisms 😅 too much, yee would be you as in a group of you or a group of yee.
@@LearnIrish A plural 'you', many thanks for clarifying. :-)
Yeah that's it. Best wishes 👍
@@LearnIrish Isn't it spelled with only one E though?

Ná habair é! Míle fáilte.
And I thought Czech was difficult!
It always depends on your starting point,I'd imagine Czech is not too difficult if you speak Polish.
