AFR and Boost can be recorded and plotted for an extra £10 per item on your graph.

Got my CR-Z a few months ago and love it. Thank you for not following the trend of hating this car because of CR-X nostalgia.
I've just bought a 2011 Honda CR-Z. I previously owned a 1990 CRX VTEC, which I loved.
I am fully aware what the CR-Z is and isn't, for those sobbing about it not being what the CRX was, they need to understand the Honda way. They innovate! Which is why you had a CRX in the first place.
The CR-Z is an innovation with a nod to the past, take it for what it is and don't try to compare. The CRX was a moment in time, like the NSX and the S2000. Honda has not tried to recreate the CRX otherwise it would be called a CRX not the CR-Z.
They could have made a CR-Z with a 2.0 VTEC but instead they tried to capture the Zeitgeist of the early 2010's and used a Hybrid, love it or hate it, bravo to Honda for trying something different.

Lovely car that. One of those that I keep checking the prices on so I'm sure I'll get one soon. Love driving an eco car. Takes all the stress out of driving. No need to boot it everywhere, just enjoy the drive.

Nice combo of tyres :) Those Goodyear efficient grips are very good, I run them on another car and rate them highly. I flirted with the idea of buying a CRZ after being exposed to them on your channel Danny, the looks are the biggest draw. I shall look forward to the videos on the car going forward.

The gearings designed to peak at 4800rpm peak torque at 125mph...rather than 6000.
Optimal hypermiling is peak torque on the low cam at 2800rpm which remains at 60mph.
Upto 144V volts on the newer 2012+ lithium ones.
Why have the parasitic losses of a crank driven supercharger, or the lag of an overed power turbo, when you can simply plug an e-motor driven compressor into the always charging electrics, with none of the problematic packaging issues ?
Why use the battery to direct drive the wheels for minimal 10hp gain, rather than run the battery through compressors for max power gain ...anywhere in the rpm range ?
So much missed opportunity begging to be remedied on the CR-z. Even garrett are now beginning to see the light.
I am looking forward to get my hands on one imminently.

I've got this as my daylie aswell I think it's fantastic in the lanes. I've stomped a lot of other cars with bigger power because it can corner. Seems to make people think twice when they try to lose u in the bends and you just seem to gain on them.

Well Friend...just 4 short weeks ago I posted a 'Comment' to your channel, and guess what I've found !
The CR-Z GT Hybrid...2010 Plate in Red, with Full Grey Leather interior, Sunroof, and ALL the extras that come with the "GT" version....and even better, JUST 30,716 confirmed miles on the clock....A FUTURE CLASSIC IN THE MAKING, would you agree.
So my Darling Wife has now 'stolen' this stunning Vehicle from ME, and in the last 4 weeks has averaged 48/51 mpg, and that's in the 'NORMAL' selected mode, not ECON...quite outstanding, and that 6 Speed HONDA MANUAL "Shifter" is an absolute DREAM..None better in my opinion.

Shuuuush Mate...EVERY KEEN MOTORING FANATIC is going to want a CR-Z...I've been waiting for a 14/15 Plate, but I'm advised that only 3844 were manufactured with R/H Drive with UK Spec....always loved the look of this Hybrid Model since 2010...what a "Looker"....G.A.R.

I have one, I also had a Fn2 Type R. Only thing that bugs me is the rear visibility. They use the Honda jazz inlet it gives a few more horses.
The best thing is they don't go wrong.

Well my friend from far away I just bought one today a 2014 even in the test drive I fell in love with it automatically but the hybrid feeling is definitely something to get used to which I think will be easy with gas prices right now I drive 100 miles a day to work....... Tomorrow I start my relationship with my CR-Z

somebody said that because this car using part engine and part motor, that is why the engine temperature not warm enough especially in extrem cold winter so that the petrol not completely burning which will eventually go mix with oil cause big problem. Is that true or not?
No these engines are good for 100s of thousands of miles if looked after
fit a supercharger on it they sound lovely ..

@@DynodazeHondaTuners cool , i guess the three different engine modes on the switch near the wheel are an affective re map anyway to a certain extent. I just thought that working for a car tuning company you would have a tinkle... reviews of the car say it rides well, chassis is brilliant but they compare to the old crx and say its too slow or could do with an extra 20 + BHP.

I own a 2011 CRZ and love it. One misconception is regarding the Hybrid badge. It's a standard combustion vehicle with some electric assist. It is not some marvel of economy tech. It gets 35 MPG US in town, and I can stretch to around 45 MPG if I am driving more downhill than uphill. The electric assist does make it torque-y compared to it's HP.

@@DynodazeHondaTuners yep a great little car for £3,250 a great bit of kit for that kind of money in sports mode on the motorway it takes on a slightly more faster pace …gear stick is easy n smooth as you stated it’s a smooth seamless drive a great everyday car …I love the shape and size visibility is a little restricted but a I can see plenty what’s behind in the rear view mirror and the side mirrors are wide I actually look forward to driving it …so Yep thanks for your review you and a nice bloke from Yorkshire gave the two best and measured reviews which convinced me to get one it’s actually a pure joy to drive so cheers mate well done keep up the good work .
