Eddystone S640 Receiver (1949)

Someone asked for more content on this old receiver, so here goes...
It hadn't warmed up fully when I made this video, so was a bit 'drifty'. But hey, it's 75 years old, so it's entitled to drift a little. Thanks and 73s to Tuomo in Finland.
The 'S' meter and speaker were optional extras in 1949 - a mark of post-war austerity. They're probably now worth more than the radio.
