- This is the twelfth episode of a series I am doing on my TH-cam channel called, "What the Fach?!".
The German Fach system; literally "compartment" or "subject of study", is a method of classifying singers, primarily opera singers, according to the range, weight, and color of their voices.
In this episode I am singing “Tu che di gel sei cinta” from Puccini’s Turandot.
I have always loved repertoire from other voice types and sometimes I sing through different pieces for fun. I thought it might be a fun idea to share this guilty pleasure of mine with you all.
You can expect to hear a new "fached up" piece from me EVERY WEEK.

Amazing job. I’m just curious, I’m soo bad at recording myself singing. Something about the camera always makes me look nervous and I forget my words. Anyway, How many takes do the videos usually take?
Thank you so much! I think I’ve always tried to see my camera as the audience and it makes me comfortable. I always do multiple takes just to have options. The amount of takes depend on the difficulty of the aria. This aria is pretty simple so this was my third and final take. Sempre Libera, on the other hand took about 7 or 8. 😖😖😖 I hope this helps.
