Question do the bag speakers work with out the radio being flashed or does have to be flashed first ?
We don't recommend any aftermarket installation be used without Flashing the radio, regardless if using Rockford Fosgate or any other brand. Other's that use "line levelers" simple attenuate the audio, but can't fix the radio clipping. It's not a matter on IF you burn-up your speakers, it's a matter of WHEN you burn them up. I’m removing my stage 3 from my streetglide to put on my road glide. Will the stock set up work once it’s all removed or do I need to flash the computer back to stock ?
Yes, a flashed radio with no amplifier will still work fine. It just gets rid of the nasty Bass Boost that typically damages speakers.

Thanks for your feedback. We're thinking about producing a DSR1 supplemental video that illustrates how to integrate it into an existing setup.
Is this a 800w kit?
Yes! It comes with an M5-800X4 amplifier that is IPX6 rated.
So can you ever go max volume or just not before you flash it ?
No, we never recommend max volume without the radio being flashed.
What about if it is flashed ?
@@derricksax8836 Great question, we have tested GT and GTS radios and the highest volume should be 3-bars from MAX. Anything beyond that and you will just clip the radio and add distortion.

Hdhu 14 siri ( sound stream company) is installed in my roadglide now. If i install rockford amp. Is flashing amp needed?

No, if you have the SoundStream model, you do not ned to flash the radio. The flashing requirement is is needed to remove the EQ settings on FACTORY HARLEY-DAVIDSON GT, GT6.5, and GTS radios, not aftermarket models.

how do i know my radio is flashed??
If you hear the "double heartbeat" when you turn your bike/audio system on, then it's flashed. This is caused by the CANbus looking for the factory amplifier. If you don't hear it, it's not flashed.

what awg is speaker cable?
• Amplifier PWR/GND Gauge = 8 AWG
• Speaker Wire Gauge = 16 AWG

@@user-dq4co3ye4x While we don't sell a kit, the TMS65 speakers work great in the lowers if they don't have water coolers in them.
