It's amazing, when you hear those first guitar notes by Dom, you're immediately transported to Sting's first solo albums era. That tone and articulation - timeless!
La música en tiempos actuales sigue viva e interesante gracias a estos músicos y sus creaciones, aquí un ejemplo. Gracias🎶(se echa de menos a Bill Bruford)
Damn fresh and lively music, really fresh. Rad clip too. Really Looking forward to being able to chow down on the rest of the release. Unexpected very pleasant surprise. Thank you Tony, for so many things.
WOW! What a psychomodelic animation! It makes Tony Look even stranger!🤪 I met Tony, and he's quite normal, and also very intelligent. What a groove smith he is! Daaaaaaaaaaang!
You thought you knew bass? Think again. The legendary Tony Levin has just released his latest masterpiece, Bringing It Down to the Bass, and it's a sonic journey like no other. This album is more than just a collection of songs; it's a musical autobiography. Tony has poured his heart and soul into every note, and it shows. From the funky grooves to the soaring melodies, this album has something for every bass player and music lover. But what really sets this album apart is the incredible lineup of guest musicians. We're talking about legends like Vinnie Coliauta, Larry Fast, Robert Fripp, Steve Gadd, Steve Hunter, Manu Katche, Jerry Marotta, Pat Mastelotto, Dominic Miller, Mike Portnoy, L. Shankar, Earl Slick, Jeremy Stacey, and David Torn. That's a who's who of the music world! If you're a fan of progressive rock, jazz, or just great music in general, you owe it to yourself to check out this album. It's a must-have for any music collection.
I regret that I cannot come to America to see you perform with Crimson. You are one of my all-time favourite bass players, and I am determined to meet you in person soon or perform.
The best thing about Tony Levin is that he doesn‘t play bass only, he allways plays music too…..
I love the song. it feels like real music made by real musicians. Thanks Levin for this gem
Meeting Tony, he is not only a great bassist, but a great guy
Absolutely! I met him once too, and he's about as down to earth as it gets.

Levin and Katche - a very fine combo in my opinion. Looking forward to adding this to my Tony Levin collection.
Yes, but I donˋt Like The drum sounding in the mix. The playing is typical Manu. ❤

I regret that I cannot come to America to see you perform with Crimson. You are one of my all-time favourite bass players, and I am determined to meet you in person soon or perform.
Well, Crimson are retired. Tony tours a lot with his own band (Stick Men) internationally.
@@DarkeningSkies1 I'm talking about the beat tour in September with Belew, Levin, Vai and Carey. I would love to see Stickmen most certainly!
Ah, Beat. I can’t see them, either but excited to hear how they present the 1980s KC. Hope they do additional pieces as well.
