A few guys at my club got this rifle when i came out a nearly all of them have had problems with it, resulting in the guns having to be returned to daystate, one went back three times , personally i think daystate introduced this rifle without testing it enough, witch for a gun costing the wrong side of 2 grand is unacceptable, just my opinion, 😁👍

Very interesting. Wanting to see a test of this high performance adjustable rifle at decent ranges, firing also slugs, preferably in.25 calibre FAC. Wondering why no one has posted such a review. I want to buy this gun but Not before a distance review.
Mike - my long distance range is under water right now! Very frustrating as I too am itching to see what the rifle is like with slugs at 100 yards. Especially as it performed well with pellets at 60 metres. As soon as things dry out I'll give it a go and let you know. Thanks for watching. Rich.
@mtnGhost Gunner Cool rifle. I bet the UK gov would just love my 110FPE 22cal Taipan Veteran though 😂 Impossible to get 110fpe out of a veteran mate. I smell bullshit
Hi Alan. There was no plug or cap on the review rifle. That said, the position of the port is such that unless you drop it butt first into a deep puddle or mud it is pretty well protected, better than the port on a phone for example.
Daystate claims that the plenum is 34 CC.. which means they did not get the full advantage of it.. I have ATI Nova Liberty which is a 300$ Chinese airgun and I shoot 25gr JSB RD at 970 ft/s with a regulator pressure of 150 bar and with a 22CC custom plenum. I have no doubt of Daystate quality but there is a big question mark because of this high regulator pressure and low speed
I have Paul. Funnily enough, I was out on Monday evening. I'm getting five shot groups of a smidge over one inch at 90 metres with FX Hybrid 22 grain slugs. The my friend showed off with his 17 HMR and did the same at 150 metres! How about you. Do you shoot slugs?
@@airgunextra i have had my delta wolf for a while (.25 FAC) and so far have not been successful in getting any slugs to work really well , i have tried roger laits tune with the 39g wildmans and not had any luck either , i have got a load of prohunter slugs in various weights and have again not been successful either so far. The thing that bugs me the most is my .25 FAC Redwolf will shoot a load of different slugs very easily and when i installed a helliboard to give me 12 different power settings it did so even better with heavier slugs.

Hi Ian. The review rifle was an FAC spec and having fiddle around with the settings I can't honestly say I have an accurate reading. I'll try and find out what the shot count is for a 12 ft/lbs rifle and let you know.
@@airgunextra it’s FAC that I’m interested in actually and preferably .25. I thought that if you were using a 25.4g pellet (even in .22) that it would give me some comparisons for the same weight albeit in .25. Thanks anyway.
@@Ian-oq9up Hi Ian. To be honest I fannied around with the chrono and all the other settings so wouldn't have got an accurate reading. I have some 33.95g .22 pellets which are the same weight as the JSB .25 pellets I use. I'll fill the bottle up and put them through the rifle to see what kind of count I get and let you know.
@@airgunextra thanks very much. I too use the JSB Mk11’s in .25 so it would be excellent if you could tell me the shot count. I’m looking at around 920fps so if you could set the chrono at around that speed it would tell me what I need to decide on placing an order. I genuinely appreciate your time in doing this. Many thanks. Ian.
P.EASE BE AWARE YOU HAVE VERY LITTLE ELECTRONIC ADJUSTMENT ON THE SUB 12FLP SO LOTS OF THE EXCITING ADJUSTMENTS ARE DISABLED YOU MAY BE DISAPPOINTED WITH YOU ABILITY TO ADJUST
Hi Ken. I'm not sure that is completely accurate. If you mean that you cannot adjust the regulator and therefore fps/power to the same extent as you can with an FAC rifle then yes, I'd agree. But the reason for that is pretty obvious. You can still use the integrated chronograph to fine tune output in 5% increments to optimise performance for different pellets and stay within 12 ft. lbs. You adjust magazine count, night/day screen mode, backlight brightness/display time, the length of time before the auto power setting kicks in, you can turn the chrono on and off. And of course, you can still change the barrels/calibre. Other than the ability to turn power levels up beyond 12 ft. lbs. I believe the electronic adjustments are very similar. And if you buy a 12 ft. lbs. Delta Wolf and subsequently receive an FAC certificate, or a new slot on your existing ticket, Daystate will upgrade your rifle to the high power version for free.
@@airgunextra you are very correct, you are definitely not sure, but I would check with the correct information The gun sounds very exciting to most shooters with all the available adjustment but at sub12flp it becomes very different for all that money Please go and find out about a sub 12ftlb gun adjustability and how many electronic features are disabled
@@neknadroj1 Ken - I can't find any reference to 'fieldwork cymru'. Do you have a link you could send? There's nothing untrue or inaccurate about the Delta Wolf 12 ft. lbs. features I listed, I promise you. I should have mentioned that I am a field tester and hunting consultant for Daystate. Please let me know what areas of the rifle you would like more information on and I'll be very happy to clarify for you. Thanks.
Hi Ken. Yes, the Wildcat is a great gun too but I wasn't setting out to prove the Delta Wolf was better than anything else, just to show what the Delta Wolf is capable of. The Impact also is awesome - I have a couple and love them. I don't think it is fair to say the Delta Wolf is a 'rip off' though. Its very hard to make a tactical rifle look much different. And of course, the RTI Priest came before the Impact, so is the Impact a rip off of the Priest? And then again, the Delta Wolf has an inboard chronograph and electronic action, which the Impact doesn't. Thanks for watching!
I wish my 0.22 HP shot anything like this. Mine shoots horribly with any pellet. A few landed in South Africa recently and of the three others I know that are sold, all shoot poorly, in particular with the 25gr these barrels are supposed to be so good with. The current best of the bunch will only shoot 18gr reasonably well, matched by virtually any half decent, functional gun out there, and utterly demolished by all the other daystates we have. I sincerely hope it's just a bad batch of barrels and not something more. The actual function of the gun and chrony have been fine, with good velocity consistency etc. Mine is back with the distributor now. We'll see what happens
Sorry to hear that Greg. You're right to send it back and give Daystate the chance to address what ever the issue is. I also have a 12 ft lbs .177 and that is very accurate too. I hope you manage to get the issue resolved.

Also, I'm not a professional presenter. I do it for fun and hopefully to inform, not to make money.
Well, Your average UK user is going to be sub 12 ft-lb . Yes FAC holders may find it good. But get out of the licking ass mode . And a rifle at half the price could match it . Guy's with springers With sub 12 ft-lb guns can match this over priced Rifle .
Thanks for watching Phil. Do you have a video on TH-cam of you and your 12 ft lb springer at 60 metres? I'd love to see it. We've got plenty of reviews of 12 ft lbs rifles as well as rifles costing a lot less than the Delta Wolf which you might be interested in. As for the Delta Wolf - the review rifle sent to me was an FAC rifle - so not much I could do about that. I did try to include some info on the 12 ft lbs version as well. And I'm sorry if you didn't like the way I reviewed the most technologically advanced rifle yet to be made. Have you had a chance to shoot one yet? What did you think of it? Rich.
@@philnoel5839 Hi Phil. Si is a phenomenal shot. I'd class myself as average at best. And, I believe, he is army trained. I'm certainly not. And the SFS tuned Imp mk 2 is a great rifle. But I still don't really see your point in comparing an FAC Delta Wolf with a 12 ft. lbs. springer. I know that if I tried shooting a target at 60 metres with a sub 12 ft lbs springer on a windy day I would not have been able to achieve a sub one inch 10-shot group. And yet I could with the FAC Delta Wolf. That's hardy a surprise to me, or I should think anyone else, and not something I set out to try and prove. If you've shot the Delta Wolf and don't agree with my opinion of it, that is of course absolutely fine. However, I think it is misleading to say that anyone with a sub 12 ft. lbs. rifle could match an FAC Delta Wolf, and most other top brand FAC rifles. Si isn't anyone. Very few people have his ability with a rifle. Wouldn't it be great to set him up with a Delta Wolf and see what he could do with it?
@@airgunextra Buddy, I was not really making a comparison between sub 12 and fac. The point i was trying to make was, The Delta wolf may be a great rifle. Akin to the FX range. All the adjustments is a dream. What i am trying to get across is they are not worth the cost for UK sub 12 FT-LB users. Because they have to pay the same amount and only get half the rifle. That is why i said that rifles at less than half their price, Are just as capable. It's like paying for a Rolls Royce , And getting it with a mini engine . If all that makes sense. PS Si could shoot the gonads of a gnat at 50 yds lol.
@@philnoel5839 No problem. I guess some people like Rollers! You're right that cheaper rifles perform as well, or very close at 12 ft. lbs. but for some people, those with deep pockets I suppose, there's more to owning a rifle than its ability to shoot accurately. @@airgunextra lol.... just poking fun for the beginning monologue (all the talk) because there was not much talk on this rifle. But yes I been waiting for Daystate to make this since after release of the Pulsar. Very exciting and thanks for your time.
Any idea how to decock the Daystate Delta Wolf? LoL

Mike - my long distance range is under water right now! Very frustrating as I too am itching to see what the rifle is like with slugs at 100 yards. Especially as it performed well with pellets at 60 metres. As soon as things dry out I'll give it a go and let you know. Thanks for watching. Rich.

Question Richard-exposed charging port and English weather-does it have some protection?👍👍👍👍👍👍😎
Hi Alan. There was no plug or cap on the review rifle. That said, the position of the port is such that unless you drop it butt first into a deep puddle or mud it is pretty well protected, better than the port on a phone for example.

Great Presentation, but you really need to invest in some noise cancellation equipment Mate !
Im assuming the Plenum space is small considering the high regulator pressure at 180 bars for a .22 shooting pellets
Not sure about that Liam. I'll try and find out and let you know.
Any luck shooting slugs through your delta wolf richard?

@@airgunextra thanks very much. I too use the JSB Mk11’s in .25 so it would be excellent if you could tell me the shot count. P.EASE BE AWARE YOU HAVE VERY LITTLE ELECTRONIC ADJUSTMENT ON THE SUB 12FLP SO LOTS OF THE EXCITING ADJUSTMENTS ARE DISABLED
YOU MAY BE DISAPPOINTED WITH YOU ABILITY TO ADJUST
@@airgunextra you are very correct, you are definitely not sure, but I would check with the correct information
The gun sounds very exciting to most shooters with all the available adjustment but at sub12flp it becomes very different for all that money

Please let me know what areas of the rifle you would like more information on and I'll be very happy to clarify for you. Thanks.
Nice shooting but.... I can do that with my $1,200.00 FX wildcat. To be honest it looks like a rip off of the FX Impact.

@@philnoel5839 No problem. I guess some people like Rollers!
