I've got some bats in my backyard that swoop down around the pool on summer nights and keep the bugs at bay. They're awesome to watch and I've considered a bat house. The skeeters can get really bad here in the deep south and I'm grateful for the bats and frogs keeping it tolerable out there.
Dusty, all the things you've described here I've been doing for the past 12 years. I grow a wide variety of fruit as well as native plants on my property. I'm just in the next town over from you. 🙂
@@diannawilliams6923 I think they mentioned why they don’t in one of their podcasts, but I can’t remember the reason - it might simply be that they don’t have time to edit a whole podcast for TH-cam. I’m happy to have the clips…seeing them interact is hilarious and interesting…and maybe at some point, they’ll decide to upload the entire podcast. ☺️
You the man Dusty i wish i could come to your next show in Columbus. I was trying to do a meet and greet but you dont offer something like that from the tickets i saw. I hope you can consider offering that in future shows.
Wow Dusty that's awesome getting involved in perma culture, food forest, swales etc. I like to follow @GeoffLawtonOnline Our congregation is doing the same thing with the 40 acres we bought south of Bisbee Arizona. I'd try to find someone that can do permaculture design. Anyway, Good luck
I think the areas around Nashville are great for permaculture, the land is quite fertile there with the heavy moisture. We have quite the permaculture community here in dry North Colorado. Keep up the good work and comedy. Rewild Nashville!
I have a bat house still in the box cuz I didn’t think it through and have no really good place to put it. A tree by the road would work but my neighbors would ? it. Lol. I live on a reg residential road. Maybe I’ll send it to you! Bats are great for your garden etc. 💗🦇
Haha i just noticed the picture on the wall of the plane lady. Not sure how long it's been there, or if you've talked about it before, but where did you get that?
Lady: “the same person that builds a bat house may just like to dress up in a bat suit.” Dusty: “Yeah….. maybe…. I’m just trying to provide solutions….” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
If you hang your bat house near your cave/quarry area, you can just about have a Bat-Cave... Then you can casually mention you're gonna go check on things at the bat-cave, man. Really get the neighbors wonderin'...I think Hannah was onto something around the 4:30 mark.
Your wife's support is the whole game...Im supposed to be an expert on everything and if i make a small fixable mistake in the process im a loser////there is no room for error. youtube is my friend. 🔧

I'm from Kansas but hell yeah, fully agree with you. We used to toss pebbles in the air and watch them dive bomb them lmao

Well it's the 'nursery capital of the world'! How fun for you guys!
Alright, I don’t understand why these short clips end abruptly??? It seems like the conversation is not done. So where’s the rest of it???
His podcast…they don’t upload a whole video on TH-cam, but you can listen to the whole thing wherever you listen to podcasts - like Spotify, etc.
Thank you! I found it easily on Spotify. It’s just sound, no picture. I wonder why they don’t put the whole thing on TH-cam?

Gnats? Cat's in hats?
Dusty is a cool cat in a hat so i guess we got that one covered.
Need to get some purple Martin houses to help with the insects
We have swallows in Wyoming at our ranch, they nest all over the barn and they cruise the field eating bugs.
Trees are like people
looks like a squirrel snout to me

Hakuna matata y'all
I just had a commercial pop up, related to this video. It’s Ryan Reynolds talking about a holiday deal. Not Christmas,… but holiday. Nope!!!!
Haha i just noticed the picture on the wall of the plane lady. Not sure how long it's been there, or if you've talked about it before, but where did you get that?
Loved the freaking out plane lady. Excellent choice!
Hope you stuck that snout in the fridge for later study!
Mosquito fish… building ponds will attract mosquitoes to begin with so it’s like a natural trap
If Purple Martins occur in your area, put up a Martin house.....those bireds supposedly eat up to 2000 mosquitos a day.
You probably already have bats. Only difference is now they are gonna be shitting on your lawn.
SIDA MONO
Hi Dusty, please please read up on Rabies.
Have you watched Jack Spirko? Pretty knowledgeable for permaculture.
Dead leaf nature guy here.
Comment 👍
So are you gonna show us the snout or just make us wonder?
The snout picture was a creepy to see!!
Hanna is a real. character
First, Hannah is so funny. Second, I love your plan. Third, any update on the owl hotel?
