- Sorry guys for the lack of videos lately. I have been dealing with some stuffs and I wasn't too much in the mood to translate videos (and because I was lazy as well), but I will try to return normally from now. Ahh the classic Macross. This YF is very cool, I didn't use too much the Macross units in this game but they are quite powerful. I wonder if all Macross series are going to appear in BX because by what I know the Macross 30 is a game that has all characters and mechas from Macross franchise, so I don't know if it will have only the original characters made for that game.
The only other Macross series to be in BX is Macross Frontier. I'm kinda disappointed we didn't get all the Macross series back together with Macross 30 in a bigger game.

TeamTowers1 nope Tatsunoku and Big west are still duking it out of spite and you can forget DYRL no one knows who owns the rights to it anymore

Yeah, and Frontier and Delta were better? Don't kid yourself. Moe bullshit was never good, discounted versions of original Macross was never good no matter how much you try to polish it. And Redditor? Oh, look at the tough guy for the boards...I'm shaking in my boots.
No, there's plenty of old shit that's garbage in all SRW games. It's just that nothing comes to close to be as shitty and uninspired as fucking Frontier. It takes a special kind of show to have both terrible characters AND mech design, but that one manages it.
Jukse RPG- I must disagree with both of you. As much as I love the original Macross and DYRL, Frontier provides a much better experience overall. Plus it doesn't have Minmay, who is the one character I can't stand more than any other.
I do agree that Delta was a mistake, however.
Frontier doesn't have Minmay...it has TWO carbon copies of Minmay. Heck, Frontier's cast is mostly carbon copies of classic Macross characters..Ozma is a carbon copy of Roy (and they fucking dare say "Wouldn't it be dramatic if he dies instead" bullshit), Alto is Hikaru, Mikhail is Max but instead of hot alien wife he gets a loli instead (Clang being a copy of Millia)
I think Frontier is a great show by the modern standards. It takes familiar archetypes and enhances them to net levels of epic. As such, it certainly fits right into post-SRWZ as the new generation of heroes. But the SRW's cast list is sometimes just a personal preference. Sometimes people just want to see the old crews in actions, whether it's for character's personality, art style, voice acting, or iconic story.
I'm not demanding the old guys to retake spotlight, since it's impossible (some of the VAs are retired or dead). The new shows hold themselves very well, but I still want to see Hikaru, Fokker, Kou, Shiro, and classic Ryoma instead of the cast from SEED Destiny, Eva, and Code Geass. The modern shows are the new standard of SRW, but I know what entertains me the most.

is this on emulation? I sound that some english translations are eboot for the console. Look for an english patch to play this on emulators. Can you point me in the right directiton?
