  • On Friday, June 14th, 2019, Fire Chief Jeanine Nicholson administered the Oath of Allegiance and presented certificates to 44 Entry Level Firefighters. Six of the 44 are Firefighter Paramedics from the Department’s EMS Division and will be enhancing our Engine based Paramedic services.
“This group of men and women have completed a rigorous 20-week Fire Academy,” said Chief Nicholson. “Some will report to their new station assignments, marking the beginning of their year‐ long probationary period, as early as Saturday, June 15.”
Joining the ranks will be a diverse group of men and women from all walks of life including athletic coaches, surgical assistants, florists, nurses, auto mechanics, bus drivers, electricians, ICU techs, iron workers, caterers, and firefighters from other jurisdictions. These dedicated men and women are embarking on the beginning of a rewarding career with San Francisco’s finest. It will be a proud celebration for the new members, their families and the San Francisco Fire Department.

Yes. Get your national testing Network test, Candidate Physical Agility Test, and National Registry for Emergency Medical Technicians out the way. Then apply ! On NTN website

The department is not 100% but they do have associates with white supremacy attitudes.
