Oh WOW! It is SO nice to see just the cultural diversity sitting around that dinner table! I remember when some of the SFFD houses had 'cocktail hour' every night. Yes, booze hit the table and some ended up too drunk to respond to calls. I also know that the first people to break the color/cultural barrier, were pummeled with distasteful rhetoric. I applaud the new Chief of Department for furthering the change for the better in a great public service agency.
