Absolutely love Rogu. Easily the best addition to a long running show. Most go the way of fairly odd parents, but Rogu just works for some reason.
I think it's because he's almost a satire.

@@Bashuraptor I don’t see any satire in his execution. For me the reason he works is because he doesn’t overshadow any of the OG cast nor does his presence derail any of the iconic character dynamics or gags. This is what main cast additions should be: a cherry on top or a coat of sprinkles that add a dose of flavor to the already perfect cake instead of changing the flavor altogether

Roger refers to Rogu as his son after saying he was his tumor hommunculus but oddly enough Roger was genuinely equally confused about wtf happened there he just accepted it. Pretty sure it's not how his species normally reproduces but I could never be 100% sure. Not even positive if Rogu is totally male or even Roger for that matter but he does say son.

He's such a sweet character. He's not even evil like Roger is. But he will kill you if you try to kill/harm him. Rogu is that loyal friend who won't take shit from anyone, but betray his trust, and you get put on a hashtag.

No fanfare, no promotionals, no gimmicks - Rogu just _wanders_ onto the show.
The best part is that everyone is completely cut off guard but just comes to accept the weirdness.

Great addition and they dont over use him. He can and will be gone for episodes or take a backseat with only a few seconds of scree time. Really good balance.
