      Polk does make great speakers but I have to say a hard no to the T15 model. I listened to them over 2 years ago in Best Buy and the sound was too thin and boomy in a bad way. I would go with the Monitor, XT, or Tsi 200. I have the monitor 40 and they sound great. They were basically discontinued for the TSI 200 model.

    I promise you those Polks have good solid bass. I put my receiver in full band at night to have some bass. Cause I can’t have my subwoofer playing ya know ?😂 So I put them in full band, and turn the bass up. I was kinda shook myself, the bass I was receiving from those Polks. I like dam😂 these got some punching bass for what they are and my room good size too. I use them as my front. They do awesome job!! Usually keep them at 80hrz tho

    These speakers work well with my entry level Yamaha RS202 receiver. The bass and quality of sound is great. So for about $240. you can have nice little system in your office, bedroom or a work station like I do with some nice sound.

    Polk speakers are way over-priced here in Canada, but I got these for $99 with price matching from Best Buy. Canadian companies including Axiom, Paradigm, Fluance are way better for price - to - performance.
    I don't see the T15 as "Real Polk" audio engineering. More like "we'll stick our Polk insignia on the speaker and have it cheaply mass-produced in Mexico or China hocus pocus Polk speaker"...
    However, I love the keyhole on the back for easy wall mounting. At their best for surrounds, above the listening space, spreading the sound over a wide area, and apparently are purposely wired out of phase, as they weren't really meant for placement at ear level.
    Plus lately I have come to really enjoy them as main speakers for late night viewing as they, understandably, don't have too heavy bass, though they hold it surprisingly adequately for their size, and have pretty good, crisp highs. Efficient at 89DBs. They look nice too, with their compact, contemporary styling and would do well as computer speakers. I will probably stuff mine with polyfill or something to dampen them a little.
    You can put them almost anywhere. Same old speaker as R1s, R10s, R15s (my favourite for looks) and M10s (least favourite), just slight cosmetic differences.

      Best to use whatever is recommended, otherwise you could damage your stereo and speakers. Check out the following link, depending on the origin on you model, it could take speakers less then 16 ohms - servlib.com/sony/audio/fh-g80-hcd-h790-hcd-h801-mhc-801-sm2.html

      @@sazzad_hossain.s I checked again. Mine being a Singapore type model it specifically states 16 ohms and not 6 to 16 ohms. Thanks.
      Is there any 16 ohms speaker set available for online purchase as my search has only yielded guitar and car speakers for 16 ohms.

    Guys please help I am desperate.
    I bought these for my record player bought the same day, and I can't manage to get them working. I also have a little amp, to which i connected the RCA cables (input for turntable and output to speakers). Ofc i had to cut the cables for the speakers but it doesnt work... Can anyone help me? If anyone is willing to, I can elaborate. Thanks

      @@cactijoyn8008 Flip ur turntable switch to 'line' when connecting to ur fosi amp. If volume is still on the low side, maybe you need an external pre-amp to go with you turntable. If so, flip switch to 'phono' for connecting to an external pre-amp. Which will connect to ur fosi amp. I don't think anything is wrong with ur amp or speakers, play from a different audio source for a quick test.

    Do you find that the speakers are at the same volume, I like active speakers because you can calibrate each speaker to the same level. Not sure how passive speakers go since they don’t have volume controls unless the amp lets you adjust output of each speaker separate from the main master level

    • @sazzad_hossain.s
      @sazzad_hossain.s  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You won't have to adjust volume for each speakers, the amp will do it. A pair of active speakers will be connected to each other, and you still adjust volume from one amp. 1 amp, 1 audio source, 1 master volume control for as many passive speakers I can connect to it :)
