You'd be blown away by the amount of retro game shops we have here. There a few in my area that sell hundreds and hundreds of both boxed and loose gameboy games, plus equally as much for N64, PS1, etc. Super Famicoms for 10$, mint N64s for 100$, etc. So much fun to browse
I was pretty surprised when he didn't recognize Dragon Quest. Without even reading the box name, I pretty much knew it was a Dragon Quest game, and I only played DQ 11 and DQ builders 2. lol I guess he was really overwhelmed.

Wow, awesome collection! Fun fact about those Mario pins: They were a Platinum status reward from Club Nintendo back in 2011. I actually have a set myself I got from the program! At the time I gave some of the pins to my little sister, too. Unfortunately she passed away some years ago. While my family was cleaning out her room some time after, they found the Blooper pin from the set and gave it to me. It was dented, but she still held onto it all these years. I put it on my favorite jacket to remember her by.

In my personal experience Sendico don't re-package everything - in some cases they will literally take what they received and just put it into the box to deliver to you.

Dragon Quest is huge in Japan. It has a small following in the US as well, but nothing like in Japan.
Japan pretty much treats Dragon Quest like we treat Final Fantasy in the west.
