Nice,Dave keep your programmes coming,it gives me inspiration and relaxation every morning with coffee black sipping and enjoying!, by the way I'm from the east.
You got a nice variety of items. That ant pulling the watermelon was the best; absolutely original folk art. You have a lot of patience picking through the trays of jewelry.
1. The book you flipped through while you bought the razors 2. The picture of the racehorse after you bought the watermelon 3. Greek slippers were cool Thanks Dave! Happy Easter!
That hammer you thought was a cobbler's could have been used for breaking tiles for mosaic work. Tile is held over an anvil type thingy and struck with the hammer.
Hi blue bus Dave me and my husband love your videos and coming with you we are both old age and I am disabled so in away it get us both out the house to come with you thank you blessings to your family happy easter from sylvie ukxx
Thanks Dave great video, you got some sound things, I liked the small press and the quirky ant pulling the melon. The odd shaped tool/implement you found might have been for working at a small gold/wax smelting furnace for bringing the crucibles in and out, before gold casting, I used the furnace back in the day and that tool would have been perfect for that. Have a great Easter Take care Sam
The ant n the watermelon fabulous there was a high button boot (reminded me of my mother she use to say that fashion is gone out like high button boots) and there was a lovely painted box
Nice to hear Benny. Cute little foot. The blue and white was nice. Lovely little match safe. A chisel or scoop? Lol, the ant pulling the watermelon is awesome. I think the Greek slippers would be better without the pompoms
Love the watermelon & ant! So fun! I’m so glad you don’t buy glass and other boring old antiques. I’m all about the jewelry and primitives you tend to focus on.
Back to the flea! 16:20 was that bracelet at the front of the table Whiting & Davis, unmarked modern junk, or a vintage hinged clamper? 17:22 The bakelite trilon and perisphere was pretty sweet. If you can't clean the chicken, baked on enamel or expoxied on stone! 22:41 They call the design Rebecca at the Well. Nothing to do with the Bible story of course, but whatever.
What kind of shoes were those again? I played it over and over and I don't know what you're saying. I'm wondering if my feet would fit in them. I adore them. They look like man shoes I'm a woman but I still like them. At least I think I do LOL. From the angle I saw they were really cool I like them. Could you explain and if there's a chance that they're still around maybe we could work something out?
I think the they said the shoes were from Greece. To me it looks like an old pair of shoes that someone added new pompoms to. The pompom colors don't match the shoe colors at all. Love the shoes but I'd take the pompoms off and leave them without them or make a some new ones in compatible colors. They're easy to make.
The victorian ones or the greek ones? I’m greek and it looks like something someone would wear in a traditional dress if youre talking about those ones.
Thank you very much everybody it's the first ones the Victorian ones then I'm a female and they look like they might be male shoes but they look small enough to fit me? I would love to have those but I'm far away.
@@signeknudsen8513 I forgot about the Greek ones I love those also. But I was talking about the first pair. I was wondering if it would be insulting to anybody to have the ones from Greece and take those pom-poms off but they look huge. I am a female and we're normally a six and a half but I grew in my forties and now I wear an 8 us. I have thyroid cancer so it got to my pituitary gland and everything started changing. Thank you everybody for being so sweet I still need to talk to the man! I want to know if he can still get those shoes I don't know if I can afford shipping plus I don't know what he would charge me. They just look so dang cute. I'm moving up to Homestead for the rest of my life period which I hope is 30 years? If not so be it I died in a beautiful place. Off-grid on a mountain 4 hours from any City a neighbor a mile-and-a-half down and somebody up a mile or two. A perfect sized neighborhood. And we have 20 acres and a four-story big old haunted house buildout of a 200 year old house I'm not sure why they tore that one down. I guess the kids probably sold the big farm and broke it into 20 acre parcels seems like back in the 50s or so our house looks like an antique though. Wish us luck and wish me those shoes please if they fit. Actually I just buy them anyway!
I have 2 of the Happy Days banks they are pretty cool, from FDR period after depression.
