The pedals look awesome, I think I'm gonna grab a set. A good way to remind you which direction to turn your wrench when removing pedals is to put your wrench handle up and "back off" or the opposite way the tires roll. I still say righty tighty, lefty loosey more times than I'd like to admit 🤣
@@THESEGMENTPR I rode in the Santa Monica mountains/encino area on Saturday morning. Also rode Fullerton loop Sunday evening. First day back to work today after 6 months. Had lower back surgery last year. It’s gonna be tough to find time to ride but I’ll squeeze in a ride or two here and there. Keep it moving.
You should check out the Chromag scarab pedals. I think you may find them with better grab. They are also concave, but the bar down the middle is not raised.
Hi TopSpot. I have had them on the Jeffsy for a couple years now. The paint doesnt chip easily. I have had some rock strikes and battle wounds and the pedals still look good. I have had to replace some of the pins a few times. Hope that helps
HI Robert. Thank you so much for tuning in brother. Did you get the pedals already? I love mine. What color way did you get? I did use the Syncros fenders for my Fox fork as it just screws in but it was making a funky sound when I jump so I took it off and just zip tied on a TASCO fender.
@@THESEGMENTPR Thanks so much for all the great info. Yes, got the pedals.....purple/grey to match my bike. I also got the Fox 36/38 non-XL version fender which screws into the fork....no movement/noise. Thanks again!
I have Spanks too. So you like the Yoshimuras better? I like that they are made in USA while the Spanks are made in Taiwan. Nothing wrong with Taiwan, but "charity" begins at home.
Hi Mark. Yeah I have been loving them. I can tell a big difference. Recently I jumped on a buddies bike that had different pedals and it felt so weird. Normally in the last a pedal just felt like a pedal, but these Yoshimura pedals are different. Hope that helps. Also they have a new pedal dropping on 3/4/22 called the Ninja. Should be awesome too
@@THESEGMENTPR Thanks. I wasn't sure. I will try to see what the Ninja is all about. The pewter color or the Chilaos is good, but I would not mind a greenish color.
Thanks for the rad review!
Thank you guys for thinking of a pedal that literally breaks the mold. So grateful to have learned about them and stoked to have them on my bike.
@@THESEGMENTPR always!
Great Video, I will definitely look into these pedals when I upgrade.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for the video Mark! Pedals look super clean and effective. Will definitely consider
When we ride together I’ll have to have you pedal my bike so you can see how they feel.
@@THESEGMENTPR Yesss let’s do that 😀

Yo Mike!! Great to see you on here. Yeah man I still use that same saying as well. Always helps me. Hahahaha.
Sick pedals. My wife is getting me some for my birthday . 🤙🏼
Man I think you’re gonna love them. Hope you’re doing well brother. Where did you ride this weekend?

I will def give those a look. Thank you for the heads up brother
Very good
Thank you Jerry. Still rocking those pedals. Love them
How have they held up so far? Does the paint chip away easily?

Great video. Do you use mtb fenders? If so, which ones do you use/like? Fyi, just bought the pedals. 😃

I'm waiting for a video on your porsche......#porschefan!
Those pedals look so good. yyyyyyyyeeeeeeewwwwwwwwww
Thanks Beckett. Next time I see you out on the trails you have to jump on my bike and give them a pedal

Hi Steve. I bought the Rev Grips. You can find them at www.Re grips.com

Are they brown?
Yes these are a dark brown. They also have other colors that are rad too
"If you're looking to upgrade your bike, and you haven't thought about pedals" just shut up and be rich, buy these $230 pedals! 🤦♂️😂
They are definitely not cheap, but mine have lasted a long time. Hope that helps
