Hmm, but why would you make the assumption he was in a stop mode? I know it “looks” like it wasn’t in the appropriate mode but the purpose of those runs was to show the gross inconsistencies the unit displayed. No way should it have done that.
I have no idea what happened there. When I get my next one, I will just use it as my fun drone, not for business. I didn't even get to fly at night yet.
Ram smack dab into that tree like it was invincible. WTF is wrong with that drone? Totally unacceptable.
Sure did. Flew in there like it was going after it's babies. Confident for sure.
looks like you had it set on stop not go around and sport mode which turns of avoidance when you hit the tree as have never had a problem with mine.
Nope, not in sports mode. I'm aware that ob. avoidance doesn't work at night or sports mode. Also was set on bypass not stop, it just messed up.

Well said. All I can show is how the unit performed through it's own camera. If it was on "stop" it sure didn't do that.
I have a mini 3 pro and I do not trust the obstacle avoidance system on it. That is totally unacceptable.

Dammit man like it wasn't even there it flew straight in ❎
Didn't it though. I'm sure DJI will make some excuse on why it happened.
Still no word on Kevin?
Oh yeah. Heard from him right away. He communicated in the comments of that video.
Maybe DJI need a better optical sensor.
Yes, that was ridiculous. Also I noticed no one was actually showing the active track in their videos. Now we know why.
you think this is bad? autel is so much worse
Yeah, I heard.
