Race to Alaska start at Port Townsend 2018

The Race to Alaska is an annual race that starts in Port Townsend Washington and ends in Ketchikan Alaska. The 2018 race started on June 14th. This video shows some of the preparation, line-up, excitement and the start of the race. What is unique about the race is that no motors are allowed. So we have sailboats, row boats, stand up paddlers, and peddler boats (view the video to see what I mean). It is a rough and tumble adventure race for 750 miles. See more at r2ak.com.
