Thanks so much for putting this series together, I just purchased a 94 XP and need a few repairs, will an 96 SPX trim cable work on the XP, I have a seller selling parts and I need that and a steering cable, keep building dude✌🏾
Awesome content, can you tell me what are the orange post on the flywheel cover for, got a 94 as well but don't have that, This whole series has helped me a bunch.
They are grounding lugs for the spark plug boots/coils. If you are turning the engine over without the wires attached to the plugs they need to be grounded to prevent potential damage to the coils/mpem.
They were bored .050 over with pistons to match. You only need to re-sleeve if the bores cannot be cleaned up or if they have already been bored over tolerance. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!
I made a reference mark when I took it apart. Take a chisel and make a mark on the case and the stator, simply just align reference marks during reassembly. Thanks for watching!
Good job man. I have the same exact ski and am in the process of doing what you did
That is awesome! These skis are a blast to ride and relaxing to wrench on. Thanks for commenting!
