Rasmus Aabrek it’s when two things directly contradict each other. Not really the correct term in this scenario but I think they mean how the entire vibe and delivery to bullet is super upbeat, while the lyrics are about depression and suicide
Rasmus Aabrek ya saying it was ironic or that they are contrasting would be more accurate. An example of an oxymoron is “clean dirt”. Dirt is inherently unclean, so it’s contradictory like holly said.

Hollywood Undead is probably one of the most underrated bands out there man. They're not "primarily" rock. They pretty much rap in every track, it's just that some songs have more singing than others, but I don't remember a single song of theirs without atleast some rap in it. It's a huge part of who they are. If you want dope bars, you should definitely check out their latest track with Tech N9ne called "Idol". That shit is FIRE! As someone else said, Bullet and Undead are awesome songs as well. Bullet is one of my favorites, but I won't spoil why. Let's just say it's very unique and definitely worth checking out ASAP!

This is by far my favorite track off of New Empire vol.1, the amount of emotions and different styles it pulled off in one song just sent shivers down my spine the first time I've heard it. The lyrics hit really hard and Charlie's last few bars and the silence at the end just add up to the vibe.

Not a big fan of Hollywood Undead, but their song Bullet is dope. A nice juxtaposition of whimsical music and dark lyrics.

I loved HU when I was a teenager a fuck ton, the only song I’ll never stop listening to is “We Are - Hollywood Undead”. 👌 Only one of their songs I still listen to now.
If you listen to the New Empire Vol. 1 album you should listen to the songs in order. They’re all apart of a start throughout the songs. Nightmare is the last song in the album. The order is Time bomb, Heart of a Champion, Already Dead, Empire, Killin it, Enemy, Upside Down, Second chances, then Nightmare.

I've been a huge fan of HU for nine years now and they're still one of my top favorite bands, and I love Nightmare so watching this reaction was very enjoyable! Charlie scene isn’t actually a play on Charlie Shene. It’s a nickname That Jordan Terrell was giving back in his earliest days where his music was all relatively depressing or scene. People started calling him Charlie the scene kid, which quickly became Charlie scene which he later changed into being the short hand for Charles P. Scene. Which is a dope name imo

My all time favorite album is swan songs came out in 2008 and i love every song on the album and they have a collecters edition of the album and it's them putting out a whole nother side to the album.

For the 3 years I was addicted to opiate painkillers I used to have lucid dreams it was amazing, when I came off them cold turkey I either had night terrors so bad I’d wake up having panic attacks or didn’t dream at all, when I finally could sleep that is, which was like 2 hours for every 48 awake it was hell, not worth the lucid dreams even though I did love them!
