At the very beginning of the video, a man on a green Ural motorcycle was driving towards you, and I thought: "Yes, it's me, the green Ural, a jacket like mine! "And then I remembered that I was from the south 😅. Привет с Кубани, берегов чёрного моря!
I appreciate how thoughtful and respectful you are always, in all your videos every time when you visit some monument, church, etc. Thank you for sharing your experience with us
Thank you for this video. We have been also in 2023 "there", but we did only Valdivostok, not Magadan. In 2024 we plan also going to Russia, but with the information of your videos, maybe Magadan is on the list. Thank you very much. Henning
I'v watched about six episodes now from start to end and I absolutely love it. I would like to cross Russia someday especially after your series. Thanks for all the video's. And also for all your tips and advice video's. Great channel.
My man! My man! From what I have seen and heard about Yakutsk I will be afraid my motorcycle will get stuck to the road in ice. Hahaha! Wow! You must have a Russian passport to stay in certain hotels? That's funny! My time in China taught me how aversive people can be towards foreigners and I hope Russians don't go down the same road. Nice video.
They is no problem with foreigners. The reason some hotels does not allow them is because they don't have a specific software to add their names, that's it.
@@motorcycleadventureslive I am quite new to motorcycles and have noticed that flat tyres is a thing. I understand that your travel to Magadan was very long and on many bad roads, but is it more common to have a flat tyre riding a motorcycle compared to a car? Are MC tyres weaker than car tyres? I took my drivers license for a car 40 years ago and have driven about 20kkm every year and I think I have got a flat tyre at most 3 times.
@@h.l.3628 flat tires on a MC are far more common than on a car. If you have tubeless tires you can get a kit and "plug" them in case of a flat, works in 90% of the cases. Riding with groups I have plugged many tires over the years.
Depending on the roads. If you start with new tires and tubes, and ride only on good asphalt, it might never happen. In fact, for the last 3-4 years, I haven't any flats, but on my Magadan trip I had 4.
Very sad memorial. A life tragically cut short. Live every day as best as possible. We never know. I would love the solitude. Early start, no traffic. Just me and my bike. Great watch. Ride safe 👍
Actually, they converted this bad situation into something very positive. Every year, thousands of riders go there and even have this movement "Вълна памяти" - Wave memory. th-cam.com/video/Ga-z0QRAwCI/w-d-xo.html
Thank you for this new episode of your trip in Russia, Pavlin. I was surprised to see that at some point, hotel rooms are only available for holders of a Russian passport. I fail to understand why... In the meantime, have you found out why? Anyway it is good to know for overland travellers that this could be a problem.
Good vid Pavlin. Lot of nothing but much open road without traffic. Much desired in my travels. Hope you are getting ready for the open roads this year.
Гледам клипчетата ти от няколко години. Благодаря, че винаги има feedback и реагираш. Благодаря, че ни правиш част от живота си на колела и още повече от тази необятна страна.
morning all 🌞knowing your a great advocate of not over packing for the journey , my question is do you carry spare innertubes and pump for that just incase moment, maybe you have already covered this subject in a previous video ,
I wonder if next time you want to visit this part of the world, wouldn't it be easier to fly to Yakutsk and rent or borrow a motorbike there? To avoid doing all those straight asphalt roads until there.
A well done ride, more than 700 km in the last section. Great, but with a lot of effort and struggle I guess. I really dont get that rule of having a Russian passport to sleep there. Crazy in my opinion. Did you count how many kilometers did you exactly cover with Pavel? I like the ending of this one. It feels and sounds like a 007 movie. :) Keep going Pavlin. :) Cheers.
be careful my friend. Used to work with radars. they emit a special lobe, and avoid to be in their trajectory. Being " a bit far" can sometimes be worst, first lobe doesn't go far then second powerful lobe can start at 100 /150 m... Even tcoms antennas are bad... have good rides !
Hi Pavlin recently I am watching nearly all of your videos, and I like to ask what kind or Russia map did you have on your tank bag during Magadan trip?. It looks like there is sometimes problem to find good detailed paper roadmap of whole Russia that is updated.
Hope all is well with your friends and family Pavlin. That memorial that you stopped at the Alyx such a tremendous irony in life where you never can be safe from douche bag people. Even for us people who travel alone you just don’t know. Well I’m saddened by People .
Thank you ! I had the spelling incorrect . One question - With all that is going on with Russia and Ukraine do you think it is safe for a Canadian to travel in Russia right now ? It doesn't appear to be a problem but I thought that I would ask for your opinion . Thank you !@@motorcycleadventureslive
I can’t believe it because you didn’t have a Russian passport they wouldn’t give you a room. I told my buddies if I want to show those people my American passport I probably would end up like Alex.
This part of the world is so boring. Not surprised you met only few trucks at all of the vid. Only road and nothing more. I prefer europe where you stop every meter to see something interesting.

Awesome trip Pavlin. Definitely on my bucket list. Lets hope I have a few more years left. 74 on March 1st . 😊
I am sure that you will have it, Tony!

Great video. Reminds me of adventures in western US and Canada to Alaska in the early 1980s. Different alphabet. Similar beautiful country. Fantastic.

You are one lucky man - so much distance and so few flat tyres 👍
I had 4 altogether for this trip.

Yes, I had tubes and air compressor.
Very Nice video 👍 Pavlin how you clean your K&N air filter when you on road? You bring cleaner and oil spray with you ? Thank you
I did it only once, when I came back to Mogocha. I wash it with soap and one rider there gave me oil spray to lube it.
I wonder if next time you want to visit this part of the world, wouldn't it be easier to fly to Yakutsk and rent or borrow a motorbike there? To avoid doing all those straight asphalt roads until there.

About 5,000km

Magadan reminds me of “ Long Way ‘Round”
It is the same direction.

There is no one detailed map for Russia. It is just too big. I bought an atlas and use the pages that I need.

What does the Renthal roll on your bars do? Just for looks or does it have a function?
I like the look. It will also protect in case of direct impact. It is a cushion.
Very sad about Scutt . I believe several other cyclists suffered a similar fate in that same area, around that time period .
Never heard, but possible.

Hello, Pavlin. When you record a trip, where do you store all the content, on an SD card or in the cloud. Thank you.
SD cards. I record only the important moments.

I met a few people there, Germans, Polish, one American, so I don't think that you will have any problem.
See what happens if you don't drink with locals 🙈
In this situation was bad.
I am sorry Pavlin but detailed map of the route is blocked ...
Works well from my side
The only difference is, I wouldn’t have gotten a memorial.
