Wow! ICOM IC-R75! I would listen to shortwave radio stations when I was a teenager, using my simple shortwave receivers. I wished I could own a communications receiver, general coverage that can receive signals from 1,600 to 30,000 kHz, but I could not afford it. Now, I am nearly fifty years old. SW has been replaced by the Internet. My wanting to have a communications receiver is only a dream now. I know I cannot get all I want in this world. At least, I can watch this video to make myself happy for several minutes. Thank you for uploading this video.
I have the Icom IC-R75 receiver. I loaded it up with filters, carry handle, and voice synthesizer unit. I really enjoy it. I don't think Kiwa does upgrades for them anymore. Too bad, even though I don't have them in mine. 73 Paul AA1SU
Thank you for your comment. Standard radio waves can be received well in Tokyo. Icom is a popular brand in Japan. Quite expensive on eBay, but not so expensive in Japan. I put the IC-R75 up for auction to transfer it to a new owner.
Got one yesterday it's good I have an aor 6000 audio wise the 6000 is better the aor is sensitive every where 0 to 6000 mhz but for the money the icom icr 75 is very good

The noise of icom R75 is quite loud. It is recommended to buy an R71e in good condition.
Reviews say the 75 is crap on am it seems to be good in your videos thanks for the video
You need to read different reviews. Best communications receiver I own and I've had a couple of hundred.

Nice Icom radio. These appear to be very popular in the United States amongst ham operators. Does Japan have a time clock signal like 5, 10, 15 MHz?

この時のアンテナは AOR SA7000 ですが、人工アースや ANC-4 も併用していますのでノイズが抑えられています。
撮影地は近隣に太陽光発電システムが多数ありますので、アンテナ単体ではノイズまみれな音声になってしまいます。
