Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal and when possible, i seek out permission from the owner or local police. I simply go to document its history before it's gone forever and leave things the way I find them. I only take pictures and only leave footprints. I assume all the risks & responsibility before doing this. Please don't attempt to do this on your own. Their could be nails, Asbestos, Falling concrete soft floors, animals or other hazards. The valve on the hose bib is underground so it can't freeze, water in pipe drains out a small weep hole above the valve.

The 1919 Arched roof building looks like an armory: where live armaments were stored.... or an air raid shelter.... but in Pennsylvania... that could be an early tornado shelter. It's not far enough under ground to work as a root cellar, and the open front allows to much heat in the summer and moisture all around.
The square hole in the wall was for a window AC unit.
That corner you thought was black mold, that looked like fire damage to me... like the shed.
At the Golf Course: The closed in Pavillion with only 2 lights- that looks like the golf cart garage.
The herb garden with marigolds was probably for the club house restaraunt.... if they had one. Marigolds are a companion plant to ward off damaging insects.
The bushes were amazing! The Round building was phenomenal. Such a tragedy they didn't even try to repurpose that facility. It could be a wonderful wedding or reception venue.
Awesome places; thanks for sharing! That farm house was a true time-capsule. A few theories, thinking 1919: that little square hole in the wall of the one bedroom may have been to let heat through from the other room that had a fireplace. The shed looked like a root cellar, or maybe even a spring house. I kept mentally urging you to go look at that back wall where the chair was. I expected to see a channel in the floor where the spring would flow. The hole in the ground outside the kitchen looked like a cistern. There probably would have been a hand-pump on top of it. Lastly, at the golf course, that large pavilion with questionable lighting may have been used for golf cart storage. Would only need minimal lighting for that. Again, and as always, thank you for going out of your way to explore these places and then share them with us.

I absolutely love the house in this one, its design and location! Wonderful area! I'll be watching this one again and again. I had cancer last year and at 72 can't get around like I used to. I was pretty depressed because my neuropathy keeps me from getting around as well as I did. But I discovered your videos and they've helped me psychologically because I can comfortably explore so many fascinating places. I love them all. Thank you.
Maybe that building on the golf course with only 4 lights was used to store the golf carts in.

I see abandoned houses in Virginia and I always think wasn’t there a family member that could care for the property? I love checking out abandoned buildings and while I look around I imagine the lives of the people that lived there. Some places you can sense a hundred years ago this area was bustling and now it’s nothing. I love old stuff.
I didn't know there was a abandoned farm house in the middle of nowhere. It's very cool to see one in very great shape.
I really hope that people respect places in the middle of nowhere and don't vandalize anything because when people don't vandalize anything everything in the house will stay in excellent condition for years to come. When people vandalize everything it makes me very sad to see everything smashed in a million peices and everything all damaged be vandals.

That plant with the purple berries is called ‘Pokeweed’ btw. It’s actually a very toxic plant, all parts of it being poisonous to consume raw. Supposedly, you can cook the leaves and they are edible, but the berries and especially the roots can be deadly.
It’s actually been known to kill livestock when it grows in their pasture, and children have been known to eat the berries and get sick. Such a beautiful plant to look at, I know it grows in my backyard, but it’s also a nasty one.
And good luck ever eradicating it once it takes hold. If any part gets left behind, which is common as it breaks easily, it’ll keep coming back forever, no matter how many times you mow it over.

The round clubhouse was awesome, bet it was considered spectacular in its day. The farmhouse brickwork still looks in perfect condition, someone did quality work on that.
The main reason I think why those very well built and conserved buildings haven't been sold yet are heritage issues related, probably awaiting some legal evaluations or the good old judiciary slowness. Thanks again for the video!

Wow, a twofer abandoned properties, that curved roof shed reminded me of a tornado shelter in the first half of the video, the golf course buildings are in excellent condition and wouldn't take much at all to refurbish, and it would take maybe 3 months to get the fairways looking good again, just makes me wonder what the heck happened that the golf course was shuttered to begin with, great video Post 10 and Ghost 10, I'd love to see how beautiful Ghost 10 actually is as she is always trying to hide her beauty,

That "workshop" out back reminds me strongly of those air-raid shelters people in England used to have. Many were just used for cold-storage or as general storage for tools and stuff. Perhaps it was even used as a shelter from tornadoes? Really cool tho.
You are correct in saying that old air raid shelters were used for storage. A lot of homes in cities had one installed in the garden called an Anderson shelter, about 8 ft x 6ft.
The shape of that structure is very similar to something called a Nissan Hut, basic crew quarters installed on military bases.

My guess on the fireplace was that it was bricked in to make it decorative only. Some do this when there's no longer a need, or issues with the chimney etc, or in some cases in can greatly reduce the premium on the homeowners' insurance.
I remember the elaborate decorative wallpaper borders being very common in the late 80's - early/mid 90's...
(he types as his eyes purposely avoid looking toward the bathroom that may or may not have been updated since said times)

That you called a shed is a root cellar we have more or less everywhere here in rural Sweden. Can also be covered with soil or buried underground. Often have double doors. You have a ventilation shutter in bottom of the entrance door to get moist out thru the roof chimney type duct . In wintertime you close the shutter and temperature never goes below freezing point. No energy for cooling/heating needed. Very good for longtime storage all type of vegetables, fruit drinks, brews and conserves. The "pavillions" was a garage for golf carts (not battery electric) ones). Looks as old time build snow fencecs to avoid snowdrift. You used only one length wood and put a vertical iron rod in the end angles thru predrilled holes. Can't blow over and can easily be moved or repaired.

Regarding the house, I'm pretty sure the one toy on the floor was a WWE wrestling ring. With a close up shot, maybe I could've ID'ed the wrestling figure that was in the ring.
- I was kind of hoping for a better shot of the coffee mugs lined up on the kitchen sink counter.
The Raw logo on the ring was used between 2009-2012. On closed inspection it looks like the figure might be Bradshaw/JBL.

That round building is called an octagon because it has 8 sides. It is like the house that I built back in the 80's.

I like your comment about the bathroom carpeting . It made me laugh. It something I wouldn't expect you to say .
We had a similar fireplace in a house I used to live in around here that was built in 1929. It had no real flue, other than a small vent, but there was a gas pipe coming up through the base of it. There used to be a gas fireplace/log thing there years ago.
While I agree that a wholefloor carpet in a bathroom is a big no no.
If you sit down on the toilet as you should do, unless you have a condition that prevents you from actually sitting.
You will never have pee splatter. When my brother moved out of our parents home, they never returned after the bathroom was cleaned.
I am not even gonna entertain the idea that explosive diarrhea splatter exists. That just sounds horrible
I like how you leave the video raw you don't edit anything out we see what you see. So we get the experience like you did. I don't like TH-camrs that edit things out or Blair things out cuz it had a swear word on the wall I like that you leave it raw. And if people don't like it they don't have to watch it.
Another cool adventure. I think in root cellars they used to collect ice and put that in them for the summer period.

What a great view from the cute hilltop house.
I have fire bushes like that planted along the front wall of my house by the windows. When they go red like that around this time of the year it always blows me away. I’ve had them for years and I still can’t get over how red they get.
Thank you Post 10 for accurately stating the reason one should not carpet a bathroom. Unless that carpet can be successfully washed in a washing machine (which it can't) it's a no go!

In the abandoned golf course I think the building you first referred to as a pavilion was probably a structure for golf cart parking to keep the rain and snow off.
