As someone who doesn't really love the Christmas season or even the holidays that much, this movie remains one of my favorite animated Christmas things ever. Such a triumph; from its animation, to its humor and charm.
Klaus is my favorite Christmas film, period! The way Klaus incorporates all the Santa Claus legends - from writing letters, traveling down chimneys, lumps of coal, cookies and milk, to the flying sleigh pulled by magical reindeer - into its story is really clever. My favorite sequences in the movie are delivering the windup frog, the townspeople of Smeerensburg turning over a new leaf, and Márgu sledding. I also like how the spirit of Klaus's dead wife is personified as the wind. Plus, the way Klaus himself dies is reminiscent of Master Oogway's death in Kung Fu Panda. Klaus's only flaw, and this is more of a nitpick really, is the liar reveal trope; within the context of the story, it's avoidable and poorly executed.
its so hard to hope in america its so hard to want to continue to volunteer and donate ..... its hard to live. yet i want to keep being there for others maybe im selfish and i need to keep being that person that needs to help everyone because its the only time i feel like i have self worth but the cost that comes with knowing how evil and dumb most the people here are makes me feel like im only working on preserving the worst we have to offer

This was a nice little Christmas gift.
Both my favorite animated Christmas movie and proof that 2D Animation is still alive, outside of Studio Ghibli and Cartoon Saloon.
