    I'm a 76 year old dude and have never tried to do this art of Pysanky egg-decorating but tomorrow will be my first time to join a group to learn the art of decorating. I'm very excited and I have committed myself to perform well and enjoy the magic Pysanky egg decorating brings.
    Thank you for the Tutorial. You're an awesome instructor.

    My Ukrainian roots have always prodded me learn this technique after watching my Grand mother when I was very young and only allowed to watch. 60 years later, here I am and very excited to learn.

    As a young girl, my best friend's mother did this every Easter. I would sit for what seemed like hours, watching her make her beautiful eggs. I now wish that I had asked her to teach me, but alas, as a child, going outside to play was more fun than sitting for too long. I do love all of the intricate designs that an artist can make and share. Happy Easter.

      If you need to get drones into the air with a bigger pay load and on a shorter runway as for bigger drones.
      Have you considered using a glider launching device, a whinch that pulls the glider along the ground to takeoff speed.
      The drone could be on a dolly so the wrinch pulls the dolly.

    When marking the initial lines in the egg with pencil, I've found it easier to use a rubber band. You can position the band anywhere and at any angle, the rubber makes it grip.
    Use a band that's somewhat wide, make sure it's lying flat and trace along the edge with your pencil. No jagged lines.

      How do u do that without crushing the egg? How do you get the egg white and yolk out of the shell

    • @donmiller2908
      @donmiller2908 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lindabaker1776 How do you place a rubber band on the egg so that it doesn't crush the shell?
      Easy, you just place the band on the egg. Eggs are surprisingly tough. hold an egg in the palm of your hand, over a sink, wrap your fingers around it and squeeze. You can squeeze as hard as you want and the egg will not break. The shape of the egg distributes the force equally.
      The only way I know of to remove the yolk and white is to make a small hole on both ends and blow it out.
      I believe they make little devices that will suck it out for you, that way you'll only need one hole. Any good Pysanky website will have tools for sale that will remove the interior.

    I use silk ties to transfer some fancy patterns to eggs each year. A friend recommended I check out your video and try this technique. Fascinating artwork. Not sure I can draw well enough to do it, but maybe. I am a math oriented person, and there is a lot of symmetry here. Thank you for sharing your beautiful creations.

    Love this video! 90+ years of family tradition I'm trying to get my daughters to continue. I love that you could get the wax off scraping with the small screwdriver! I also just bought an electric kistka and I'm having much better success with that. No more wax clumps and it writes so even! Thank you for posting, I really enjoyed watching! I have found that this is a great stress reliever and I will be doing eggs all year round.

    I have been watching some of your old videos. I’m watching the one on the eggs now. I don’t know your religion, but I love how you bring it in and explain.
