I had an Xbox, and I bought Rocksmith, a teaching game for guitar. It came with its own usb cable for plugging into the Xbox! I still have the cable; good to know it might be useful!
Is it possible to use a usb C at the PC end of the cable and a 6.35 mm jack at the other end for my acoustic guitar that has a Piezo Pickup Transducer in it?
Lose All Audio Output when I plug in the USB guitar cable. It didn't used to do this, I used it for months with no issues, was busy for a couple of weeks, and when I plugged it back in, Silence... I tried switching to other ports, changing the audio device, .. nothing seems to work. I want to think the cable is defective, but it Did work, and why should it effect other audio?
I bought an Alesis cable and it came with Ampltube software but I have never been able to get it working correctly, same with Guitar Rig. I might give it another go with the ASIO V2 driver
Thanks. When i use this cable with asio driver on guitar rig 5 appear a noise periodical while few second. This noise is cyclic and when i open de asio setting during the noise, this disappear. But this noise come back again. What can i do?
Yes Because The Plug of a bass Is the same plug on a guitar so You can use it but not of course with the way he setup the amp you will need to get a bass amp emulator if your using Mac I recommend garageband or logic
Thanks for the video! However, my version of cakewalk looks completely different than in the video, and when I go to the Edit button, it only gives me the option to cycle, or slice at playhead. Is there another way to go into preferences? Thank you!
did you hear the noise level on the dirty amp sim ? thats because you are turning the guitar input low to avoid clipping the usb hardware . not ideal . get the behringer um22 or what ever budget interface you can find . my first was a line6 guitar port i paid 15 dollars for . it sounded very good . i used almplitube , th3 and all sorts of vsts in reaper .
this is an audio interface. a shitty cheap one but still an audio interface. the whole device is the usb part. its just more confortable than using a dongle with a cable and a headphone output.
Yes, you can. I use mine for Bias FX. It works fine, but you might get a bit of Latency. Adjusting the Buffer Size and Sample Rate can fix that problem, though it gets kind of annoying, because you have to constantly adjust it if you are using a backtrack due to the extra audio being played through your speaker.
I'm not sure if you could use it with discord, but it can be set as the primary microphone input on your computer, so it's no different than any other microphone that is connected. Guitar pedals can be used first, just connect the USB cable to the last guitar pedal. I'm not sure how good that will sound though.
If you are planning to record covers especially bass covers, don't use usb guitar cables. Once you plug it in your laptop and start recording, you will hear a really loud hum noise that is really annoying and cant be fixed. The bass also gets drowned with the loud humming and also latency
@@theguy4688 Get an audio interface. Any audio interface is good. I just got mine a week ago and it totally works. It eliminates the humming noise and there is no latency
@@thomas.thomas I guess so, never really managed to solve this. Some softwares make it noisier than others, but overall it's still noisy. I don't think it could be my guitar, since it does little to no noise in OD channel on my amp

Does this work for rocksmith on pc?
could i use this on a keyboard headphone OUT would it be stereo?
But from where are you getting the output? Are you using headphones connected to your PC/device's sound card?
speakers or headphones yes
Decided to try one myself. This was very informative.
Is it good

Can you use this cable for Rocksmith with the mod that allows to play without the original cable?
Yes you can use it for Rocksmith. It will show up as a microphone.
@@xero3856 Really? I used a fairly similar cable for Rocksmith, Nuosiya I believe, it had all the packaging but it didn't do crap.
@@jamesslayer4 I don’t know want to say to that but check the audio settings for your computer. I had to fiddle with them for Rocksmith.
is it possible to run onw of these cables through a pedal first
no. the whole idea of these cables is to use a pc for the pedal simulation. use an amp for that.
Whats the difference between connecting this directly to the pc and connecting it by an audio interface?

Mine is a tisino and the light is indicating that it’s plugged in, but my ps4 saying that it’s not
This is for PC. Not sure what you are trying to do with your PS4 but that sounds way different
If the light on the cable is blinking once I open garage band dos that mean it’s a bad cable? I can’t get any sound but my cable is prank new!
I am having this exact issue, did you solve it and how?
I’m late, but make sure the input (input 1 or input 1+2) is set to your usb cord. Make sure monitoring is on too.
Its ok to plug on any speaker with usb plug hole?
yea
