I feel like the real rookie of the year is Emmanuel. He literally was chilling like a rookie the whole season even after he was separated from Kaycee and rookies were being picked off again. And yes it also helps that he was on a winning team but if you think about it him and Kaycee are the strongest on that team. There’s no fighting that Emy is a comp beast but I feel like Emmanuel is well rounded at competition and politics/polidicking cause he didn’t need to be the vets puppet for them to keep him safe and align with him over other vets

Everybody uses everybody in this game. That’s literally the most valuable strategy. Building relationships with people and milking them for what they can yield to get you as far as possible. Let’s not pretend that CT is the greatest “user”. There are plenty of other vying for that title on this show. They should’ve put him in and kept putting him in until he went home. He lucked out this season because no one was on the show that was willing to rock the status quo from the jump and not fall in line with a vets alliance.
The best players haven't been on. We are stuck with 1 or 2 "alpha males/females" who call the shots & it ruins the season. No butting of heads for power.
They aren't fair. It's been such a turn off for me this season. I've never had a season where I was so frustrated to the point of not wanting to watch. To have to listen to the emerald team talk like they are gods when in reality the scales are tipped in their favor every week, is just nauseating. I hope MTV never does this again. Use the survivor method and make people sit out to even the numbers for the comps. I won't watch another season like this.

Last season at least when someone lost their partner they had to sit out the challenge that week.l I was so frustrated seeing Emerald Win again. I really don't think I can keep watching this season. If you’ve watched older seasons you’d know this challenge is supposed to be based on the season CutThroat where the teams were just like this. There was a team of two people.

I so concur with you on this! This has truly been a like a painful ulcer in my side that I can't get rid of everytime show aft3r show it's the elimination round and I watch as the whole house basically helps whoever they favor get back in the game. Being honest, I don't like those rules. I like the two go head to head and you wait and see who step out the ring victorious with they hands up. Because whether we know it or not we are allowing someone to win and one to lose the elimination based off of who we support that night... You know what I mean? Ugh!!!
That’s what was so great about the seasons that had “exiles” as the elimination rounds. Teams left and competed by themselves while everybody else waited at the house. No damn help

one thing i agree with Devin about Kyle paving the way for international players..he was the first international player to come in during Vendettas and reach final and then keep coming back..Joss , Melissa came with him and did a few seasons, Rogan was the first one to be out that season and then won WOTW 2 but still Kyle is like the OG international player who made it possible for international players to come in..and Cory was right when he said the rookies looked up to him...first episode he was the only seasoned vet among the international newbies, Nam had done one season but Kyle had done 6 and knew the game and was kinda giving them advice on what to do..so yeah Kyle did make it possible for international players to come in and make The Challenge global!! Love Kyle..he is just charming and hilarious and amazing

I love Big Ts personality but comparing Emy to Big T really isn't fair because Emy is a much better competitor. It’s because they didn’t win the final and they need that extra cash
Everybody uses everybody in this game. That’s literally the most valuable strategy. Building relationships with people and milking them for what they can yield to get you as far as possible. Let’s not pretend that CT is the greatest “user”. There are plenty of other vying for that title on this show. They should’ve put him in and kept putting him in until he went home. He lucked out this season because no one was on the show that was willing to rock the status quo from the jump and not fall in line with a vets alliance.
He benefits more then Emy does tbh, but I still love CT

The real question is why hasn't MTV been able to put together a competent season in about 3 years.
The best players haven't been on. We are stuck with 1 or 2 "alpha males/females" who call the shots & it ruins the season. No butting of heads for power.
Ever since WOTW…that was honestly one of the most enjoyable seasons (in this particular era)

They aren't fair. It's been such a turn off for me this season. I've never had a season where I was so frustrated to the point of not wanting to watch. To have to listen to the emerald team talk like they are gods when in reality the scales are tipped in their favor every week, is just nauseating. I hope MTV never does this again. Use the survivor method and make people sit out to even the numbers for the comps. I won't watch another season like this.

Last season at least when someone lost their partner they had to sit out the challenge that week.l I was so frustrated seeing Emerald Win again. I really don't think I can keep watching this season. The producers are making it super obvious that the game is rigged this season
If you’ve watched older seasons you’d know this challenge is supposed to be based on the season CutThroat where the teams were just like this. There was a team of two people.

Without seeing the episode: the answer is yes, of course CT uses emy to his benefit. I really don't understand why nobody of the girls infiltrade emerald and steal kaycees or nanys spot and turning them against each other. it makes no sense. Also i hope there will be a mission, when being in a big group gives you a disadvantage rather than an advantage

I was actually so stressed about this! It seemed to me they were all scared, and I really don’t like ct in this season
CT makes champions. They pick him. And with a million dollars almost in their pocket dont act like they don't "use" him.
Emerald seems to think that only their team opinion counts and everyone needs to do what they want they're only interested in their own game they don't want to earn their spot in the final they want people to hand them the final
Looking at the people on emerald cell... they are going to repeat a Paulie situation. Just like Paulie they are running the season but do not realise how weak their cell is getting. Once they get to the final they will crash and burn.

This act that Emerald is the team of gold is bananas. Devin, Nany and Amanda have literally floated through the game😂😂. None of them are top notch competitors. They’ve literally gotten so low in the game that Devin can literally talk to better competitors like they’re chopped liver and that’s crazy. The fact that sapphire is made to play with 3 players blows my mind.

Really? I barely watch many of the full episodes and I even know that CT playing Emy 🤦🏽♂️. Devin said the best thing about Kyle, he did pave the way for a lot of the international players who came on after him and he never gets credit for it.

I so concur with you on this! This has truly been a like a painful ulcer in my side that I can't get rid of everytime show aft3r show it's the elimination round and I watch as the whole house basically helps whoever they favor get back in the game. Being honest, I don't like those rules. I like the two go head to head and you wait and see who step out the ring victorious with they hands up. Because whether we know it or not we are allowing someone to win and one to lose the elimination based off of who we support that night... You know what I mean? Ugh!!!

That’s what was so great about the seasons that had “exiles” as the elimination rounds. Teams left and competed by themselves while everybody else waited at the house. No damn help

one thing i agree with Devin about Kyle paving the way for international players..he was the first international player to come in during Vendettas and reach final and then keep coming back..Joss , Melissa came with him and did a few seasons, Rogan was the first one to be out that season and then won WOTW 2 but still Kyle is like the OG international player who made it possible for international players to come in..and Cory was right when he said the rookies looked up to him...first episode he was the only seasoned vet among the international newbies, Nam had done one season but Kyle had done 6 and knew the game and was kinda giving them advice on what to do..so yeah Kyle did make it possible for international players to come in and make The Challenge global!! Love Kyle..he is just charming and hilarious and amazing

Totally agree with the comments. Players on the sidelines shouldn't be helping anyone during eliminations, I actually can't believe MTV has let it slide for a few seasons now. Also Nany has been on how many seasons now? 10? and she STILL sucks as a competitor, I don't know why people feel "threatened" by her.

CT and Big T’s relationship is nothing like him and Emy’s. He was making the most of having to be partnered with Big T. He actually enjoys being with Emy. He respects her talent.

Emy is one of the most annoying cast members ever, so I hope CT is at least getting some use out of her if he has to endure hearing "Uncle CT" every 5 minutes 🙄 I always love when CT is there and of course when he wins, but I would love to see Kyle win. He's one of the few who play the game smart and with the acknowledgment that it is a GAME not a friendship circle.
I love Big Ts personality but comparing Emy to Big T really isn't fair because Emy is a much better competitor. Ct took Big T "under his wing" because they were partners and he pretty much had to but, he wanted Emy to join his team because he knew she could compete. Emy won 4 eliminations and made it to the final her first season.
Devin is a terrible competitor in singles competition even in pairs lol he lucked out being on emerald. The only threat on emerald is Kaycee let's be clear lol Ruby just became contenders with Big T's elimination. Still have my money on CT no matter the circumstance lol he's reminding me of inferno CT with his mouth 🤣 he used to brutalize everyone who sucked lol
I honestly think Big T is less of a layup than Nany. Also the change is Devin is not it. I feel like everyone who ends up hanging with Josh ends up being unlikeable. If Josh doesn’t leave next season, I feel like views will drop more 😬
