What’s funny is …. I was born and raised in SoCal and yes… 55* was cold to me! At 30, (I’m 56) we moved cross country to Pennsylvania and 55* is warmer for me now 😂 I get you Amy!!! I totally understand 😎😘

I always get the mint julep when I come to Disneyland. I love it! Cafe Orleans serves it with free refills and that's usually where I enjoy it. I love the fresh mint you get with it and I smash it into my drink for that extra minty flavor. 😋
I definitely plan to get it more often, but I frequently forget to buy drinks because I’m usually just grabbing a free cup of water. But a refreshing drink is nice every now and again.
I'm so picky on my food. But Jolly Holiday is always the win for me. Never tried their cinnamon rolls. I need to. Definitely need to step outside the box and try different food.

That cheesy garlic pretzel bread totally lived up to the hype. I could see it being a great base for a meatball sandwich but it was fantastic on its own.
I've heard reports of people adding meat to it from elsewhere in the park. I've thought about doing a Food Hacks video where several items are combined like that. I just have to see if there's enough of them out there.
Your top 10 list is great! And i agree, the cinnamon roll is so AMAZING. When we went to disneyland i bought one and my family ate almost all of it. I wish i got 2! Definitely gonna have to try the combo next time ❤
I watch your channel all the time and I followed your advice of visiting Maurice's Treats on my recent Disneyland trip! I got the Boysen Apple Freeze (with raspberry drizzle, without whipped cream) and it was pretty good, probably would have been even better without the drizzle, but omg the Cheesy Garlic Pretzel Bread was life-changing!! Probably the best thing I ate during my entire US trip 😆. I saved half of it for my husband who was riding Star Tours at the time and it took all my will power to not eat it all by myself lol.

When we went in October, we had our restaurants and meals picked, only to get there right after the seasonal menu change. We were disappointed with what we had to pick from, only because we had picked something else. Can you tell me if you know approximately how many times a year they change out their menus across two parks?
It’s hard to say. They change them all the time. But the guarantee changes are with any seasons. They have a separate Valentine’s menu for February. They usually have a set menu for March and April. September and October have a separate menu. And November/December. They are launching new stuff on the 10th of this month as well. I think they have a summer menu June through August, too. But can’t say for certain on the timing with this one.
The beef options at Docking Bay are the absolute best of what they have to offer. A beef dish from Docking Bay holds the spot for best thing I’ve ever eaten at Disneyland.
I tried the cheese pretzel bread when it first came out and thought it was a little bland. I heard of a hack to open it up and add a skewer from Bengal BBQ but I haven't tried it yet.
You might try it again? I didn’t actually get it until it appeared on the menu, but I’d seen people ordering it from the secret menu for a month or two before I finally tried it. So it’s possible they tweaked the recipe. Disney definitely takes customer feedback into consideration when it comes to preparing food.

I bought a Rode SmartLav. It’s not wireless, because I want something that directly interfaces with my phone to avoid having to sync an audio file. I’ll see how that goes.
@@SoCalDisneyDad the receiver does store the audio files digitally so that you can work with the audio separately in post. But the wireless go ii can also record audio directly into your clips. Additionally it comes with 2 wireless mics you can clip one onto you and your wife and both of you guys will record clean audio into the clip. Check it out. It’s worth it in my opinion.

World of Color typically has a dessert party. There’s a page for it on their website, but every date I checked had no times available. Either they aren’t running it for the next 2 months, or the more likely option is that it’s all booked out. I imagine it’s super popular and disappears fast. I know that there is no World or Color until January 19th as it switches back to World of Color ONE, so there’s that too.

Disney accepts cash everywhere. You can absolutely bring it.
It’s easier to mobile order, but plenty of people still do standby and pay with cash.

Not that I’m aware of, though I haven’t ordered the one at Edelweiss yet. I assume it’s the same though.
