      I played a lot of cod WW2 which led me to getting it for a cod WW2 loadout. I made the expeditionary Austrian regiment with the black outfit and gold trimmed hat. There's a photo of it at the bottom of my Instagram page. instagram.com/commandershadowlord?igshid=NzZlODBkYWE4Ng==

    Ive just received mine this week. I was also supposed to shoot at 410FPS but it’s only 280FPS. Am disappointed ☹️ and the safety decided to be stucked on fire mode for some reason

      I've heard that the safety breaking is a typical issue with them it's not just yours. Yeah, it's a disappointing gun for sure. Which is too bad as it looks really nice. They are not what they are hyped up to be.

      You could probably return it or they might even do some repairs on it for free what company did you get it through.

      @@CommanderShadowLord I thought about it but the main issue is that I bought the kar in France and I had to import it in Switzerland. I won’t give all the details but it’s a nightmare to import/export from Switzerland due to the stupid laws about Airsoft. The company is Airsoft Entrepot, a very well known shop in France/Europe.

      @@Leftover_anxiety Ah okay yeah that is a problem. Yeah, that's not really an option then. Might have to try selling it to a player at one of the fields in your area. I just use mine as a film prop now.

    I've had my Kar for about a year now, skirmished it twice in the last two weeks. Little broken plastic pieces started falling out after I got lubricant in the hop up (Totally on me) and I had a problem where I couldn't pull the trigger without holding the bolt down. The band spring broke and there's no replacement available online so I used one for a real Kar 98k annnnnnd the barrel cap is permanently fixed now. Fortunately during my second skirmish the fake firing pin flew off while racking the bolt and it fixed the trigger issue. I'm looking to get a new one during the winter when the fields are closed.
    I do have a couple questions for you though.
    1.) I play it as a rifleman (With a matching WW2 Afrika Korps uniform) on the frontlines. You said .25 was the best gram BB for the gun. I've been shooting .36 but with the hop up being wonked I bought .40s to see if the mass will improve the shooting (Plus I heard sniper-type weapons like this one do better at higher weights). What did the rifle not like about anything over .25, and is that the optimal round for the role I'm using it in?
    B.) ARES has a spring Kar 98k for twice the price that shoots 280-260 fps according to Evike. Would you recommend buying the ARES instead or buying another Snow Wolf + upgrading the SW (Depending on if I have someone else do it)

    • @CommanderShadowLord
      @CommanderShadowLord  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mine did not want to hop the higher bb weights it did not shoot as far with those. It depends on what bucking you have in it. The Ares actually seems to be really good I'm considering getting that actually myself at some point.

    I have a question! Is the magazine compatible with Tanaka's kar98k? Because the magazine looks quite similar, right?

    • @CommanderShadowLord
      @CommanderShadowLord  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I honestly have no idea. They look very similar to the point I can't tell a difference in the photos. You could get one from a company that has a return option if it doesn't work and try it out.

      Trust me there's better ones on the market but for a starter rifle it's not bad. I've been doing airsoft for 5 years though so it's a no go for me. Glad you enjoy it though I had fun with it in the beginning too.

    Bro, every airsoft sniper rifle is meant for upgrade. Without it, it's not gonna be good. No upgrade parts? You got T.N.T, parts , Boltaction dude parts and Airsoftpro parts. The aluminium piston from Airsoftpro is very cheap, it can handle springs like M140/170

      @@CommanderShadowLord the issue is not that a rifle is or not vsr compatible, cause if its good from the start you dont need to change anything. For example : silverback or archwick rifles. The vsr itself... is a bad rifle, only good because aftermarket manufacturers have designed good parts for it. I think the community should stop about requiring sniper to be vsr compatible but ask manufacturer to make quality rifle instead, with steel trigger box, aluminium/steel piston and machined hop unit. At least in a perfect world, i understand that we'd rather have a terrible sniper rifle that is vsr compatible rather than just a terrible sniper rifle.
