- How to convert an adapter into a variable power supply?
Using a 12V 2A adapter, I made a variable power supply with a voltage display.
For this, you will need a 12 volt two amp adapter, voltage display, 50 kilo volume, 10 kilo resistance and capacitors for output voltage with higher voltage, some wire and clamps.
Of course, I must say that in choosing the volume and resistance, you should pay attention to the resistance that is in the path between the positive output and the IC, and choose the value of the resistance and volume according to it, for example, there was a resistance of 39 kilos in this board, so from a volume of 50 kilos or more can be used and the resistance that was used was 1/4 of the value of the resistance on the board.
Thanks for watching😉😉😉

Not all adapters will have that resistor in that location. The resistor is used in combination with a voltage reference to set the output voltage, by changing the resistor the output voltage will change.
On most adapters it is NOT safe to change the voltage by a large amount, transformer and diodes are other components are chosen to work best within a narrow range of the configured output voltage. +/- 20-25% around the original output voltage would probably work, anything higher than that can be dangerous.
Yes, in some adapters, zener diodes are used instead of ICs to adjust the voltage
To set the basic voltage range, you should use a volume or multitrain which is about two times the resistance on the board and specify the value (if the resistance falls below a certain limit, the output voltage will be cut off and the board will fail, and if the resistance is greater than If it is a limit, it still has a bad effect on our nutritional performance.
that was perfect
😮
Thanks
well done son
Nice one...thanks.
Thank you dear friend
Thank you dear friend
Руки трясутся, паяльник говно, но он не ноет, запилил отличный видос и не звездел пол часа. В любой адаптер с оптронной обратной связью можно воткнуть регулируемую tl431 👍
Its good
My eyes were successfully destroyed, Avoid excessive zoom and speed up the video at the same time
Thank you for your opinion
I suggest you watch the last video in the channel
13:11 - Did you really use these alligator clips connected to the mains and so close together? :D
And you moved the whole thing around so confidently and fearless :D
It's super easy to touch these clips together and then ... fireworks :D
Hello
Thank you for your helpful comment
You can also use an adapter cable
But in this case that the connection causes a fire, it is not the case because the output current is low and the board cuts the output voltage when the connection is shorted.
In the worst case, the adapter will burn and fail.
@@electroo-light I was referring to the input 220v, not the output. I know the output current it low, but if you touch the mains together, that's going to cause fireworks :)
a schematic diagram could be useful
Yes, you are right
Thank you for your opinion
Interesting, but it was more of a watch me... than a how to..
Thank you
I will add more details in the description
@@electroo-light Cool. Did you wire the potentiometer to the 431 voltage ref to adjust the output?
Hope less video

My friend, I did not understand what you mean
Explain again.
