1. Price is lower in my country
2. Lesser power consumption
3. I will use it only for gaming
4. Higher FPS
5. I have a freesync monitor

You cannot enable dlss but not fsr while making comparison.Either enable or disable both.
The rx 6600 is much more efficient, consumes less power, is a great graphics card
rx6600 is the best bang for the buck on the market right now IMO, at least until the 7600 comes out

but it is also good to consider that 2060S has RT, DLSS and NIS. besides that nvidia is much better in older games, emulators, besides the codec that helps in professional things.

Should have save little bit of Money to get a 2060 super or Rx 6600 base version but I think I'm alright with my 1660 super already so it's a win
the Rtx 2060Super is a lot better for 3D modeling and Rendering cuz it has a lot more CUDA Cores than the Rx 6600

And that has nothing to do with pretty much almost all people who have a 2060, its all about gaming with both of these and the 6600 overall beats the 2060.

Conclusion : rx 6600 consumes less power than 2060s almost half . I notice that the games are a little shaper in rx6600 , temperature are same of both gpus , fps fluctuation is more in 2060 s , rx6600 gives stable performance , both gaves more or less same fps in games.
I think you should rx6600 , save electricity

Set the Rx6600's Clock Settings to 2200/2700Mhz so you get some extra FPS, and the card is limited to 100W, give 20W extra power and get much better results!

@@busybusiness9121 RX 6600's Vrams are downclocked, they have high overclocking potential but due to amds 1900 mhz vram oc limit you can't reach it's true potential without MorePowerTool.
I own a Asus Dual RX 6600, I am using it overclocked since 2022 September. There is no frying or degrading.

Nope, mine is a asrock rx 6600 non m and it shows cap at 100w on msi afterburner so no, its a normal rx 6600.
thats a bit sad that current gen amd graphics card cannot run decent fps in medium settings...That never happened in the past.
So you have grab a 9-2000 for gpu to run medium settings

2060s has few less FPS,but better 1% LOWs,so that prevents stuttering. In this case 2060S s smoother in my opinion.

Elden Ring is an open world game, it is expected that it will have different weather and time depending on the time in the game.
Radeon gpu are the best. Low poer comsumption plus the temperature is great

Kinda unfortunate that alot of people only pay attension to raw performance and and not look at temp or power consumption.. you could save by buying 2060 super sure, but if you are in a thight budget and planning on using this cards in a long time.. rx 6600 could save you more money.. just saying.

@@howzhauzan63 Tbf the rx6600 draws about 130-140W total. The 100W shown by the overlay is only for the GPU. This is specific to AMD, so in this case, the 2060S only draws about 40W higher than the 6600 and not 75W.
@@kingeling 6600 total power of 130-140 is OVERCLOCKED. the default is max 100w if you didn't OC. so no, the power draw differences is higher than 40W.
@@howzhauzan63 Every spec sheet I've seen so far lists the 6600 as having a power draw of 132W. A Techpowerup review shows that theirs had an average 123W draw at STOCK SETTINGS. Some few users say that they have tested its power draw externally up to 140W. Numerous forums mention AMD's reported power draw being ONLY FOR THE GPU AND NOT THE WHOLE CARD. Please do your research next time.

I bought a second hand rx 6600 for $200 in turkey where it costs $315 brand new. Rtx 2060 super on the other hand costs the same right now. If i had to buy something right now i think i would go with 2060 super because it keeps better 1% in almost all games even with lower average fps. At same price point nvidia wins for me.

I'm use both and I can said I'm stick with 22.Q4 until 23.2.2 that no freeze during work with photoshop staff / otherwise 22.10.1 - 22.11.2 I have a lot of problem.
But use 23.2.2 for a while no problem for now.
For Nvidia sometime it have problem too not gonna bias but more stable and overall I'm happy with both, Just find what you use it for and price important too, Here second hand nvidia a lot expensive than AMD

Performance wise there is hardly 2-3% difference.
But don't see the FPS, see the power.
6600 is using just 100W to perform the same as 2060S which is using 180W at peak.
6660 will save your money on the long run.
Two drawbacks with 6600 against 2060S:
1) Poor performance in Ray Tracing
2) DLSS not supported

I currently have an rx6600 but I might make the switch to a 2060S for a similar price, while hoping to get better or similar frame rates. I'm mainly looking for better performance with RT and cuda compatibility.
I would definitely need to undervolt it to get figures closer to 130W (which is the total power that the 6600 actually draws).
