I am seriously considering the 115hp version of this car. Solid vehicle. Especialy due to the 1.5L engine. In that price class you usually only get 1l 3-cylinders and they not only roar too much but stutter and vibrate excessively during launches.
I've never driven the 115hp Mazda 2. But the 90hp is good enough. On the highway (100kmh) I had to downshift from 6 to 4 (uphill) because it was slowing down. That's the only complaint for me. I also drove a Nissan Micra 2021 with 90hp and 100hp, and those felt more powerfull than the mazda 2. BUT the micra's is a 3 cylinders car, stutter too much, so I agree with you about the 3 cylinders. Thanks for watching :)
